Teachers and staff at Englewood Schools just received an increase in pay. It emanates from funding passed by voters in the November election. The bump is helpful, but it might not solve long-term retention issues, said Rosemary Wulf, presi-
dent of Englewood Educators. “Our salaries have not been keeping up with (Colorado) inflation and our health insurance costs have been going up significantly every year,” Wulf said. “Even with the mill levy our salaries are still lagging behind our neighboring school districts.” Englewood Educators describes itself as “a teachers association that
