Contending with years of little growth in standardized test scores, the Cherry Creek School District has started rolling out a strategy meant to improve literacy among its students. While the district acknowledges the critical urgency of improving reading
outcomes, the plan, which includes short- and long-term changes, won’t be fully implemented until the 20262027 school year. Even then, it could take another few years before statistics will be available to see if the efforts were successful.
