New principal at Second Creek 27J Schools announced the hiring of Ana Marlatt as the new principal for Second Creek Elementary School. She had been an assistant principal at the school for the past two years. She’s been in the district since 2005 as a teacher and an instructional coach. “This school is an incredible pace filled with amazing students, staff and so many supportive families standing with us,” she said in a statement. “The Second Creek community is truly amazing. I’m honored to be the next leader of Second Creek and am excited about what can accomplish together.” Marlatt earned her bachelor’s degree at Regis University. She earned a master’s in curriculum and instruction at the University of Colorado. Her second master’s -with an endorsement in educational leadership -- came from Regis University in 2015.
