Dear industry partners, The Government of Puerto Rico enacted timely and effective measures to control the spread of COVID-19 on the Island. As a sector, we have focused our time and energy on ensuring the wellbeing of our teams and visitors through aggressive health and safety preparedness. Governor Wanda Vázquez Garced recently signed into effect Executive Order 2020-041 which outlines the next phase of our economy’s reopening, where recreation and leisure assume a leading role. The Puerto Rico Tourism Company and the Department of Sports and Recreation have prepared specific guidance to accompany Executive Order 2020-041 and aid in the interpretation of its applicability as it relates to the travel and tourism industry.
