SOUTH WEST ROCKS COMMUNITY ART GALLERY The South West Rocks Community Art Gallery opened at the beginning of March and provides a wonderful opportunity for local artists to exhibit their work, with many on waiting lists for other galleries in the region. Coastline has supported the new gallery by providing funding for the purchase and install of a professional hanging system.

Alan and Jen from the Community Art Gallery committee kindly showed us through a pop up exhibition that was on display in the Galley space at the old Pilot Station in South West Rocks!

‘WILDLIFE OF THE MACLEAY’ PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION On Thursday 17th February members of the Coastline team attended the opening of the Macleay Valley Arts Council “Wildlife of the Macleay” photography exhibition.

Coastline is a proud sponsor the exhibition, located at the Nulla Nulla Art Gallery, inside the The Slim Dusty Centre. The exhibition showcases 116 images captured by 49 local photographers including high school students through to professional photographers. Along with the wildlife exhibition, a coffee table book was created with local Dunghutti words for the names of wildlife included.

The book is available at Coastline’s Macleay Valley branches for $25 with proceeds going to supporting the Macleay Valley Arts Council. The exhibition is on display till 20th March, so make show you check out all the talented photographers!
