very day, Coahoma Community College puts knowledge to work in the world and operates “On a Mission.” This is our College’s mantra, as it has been since our founding on the premise that education’s primary purpose is to enhance the ability—and strengthen the inclination—to serve humanity. Coahoma is driven forward by our commitment to grow inclusion, spark innovation, and accelerate the impact where it is needed most. We have assembled the foremost educators, scholars, and practitioners to pioneer the impossible and confront the most pressing issues of our time. Now, with the support of the Coahoma community, we are ready to launch the next phase of our future that will dramatically amplify our impact on the world. The College has a bright future and is poised to make great strides for our students, our employees, the local community, the state of Mississippi, and beyond. We are making progress on achieving the operational goals of growing enrollment, increasing graduation rates, and expanding student support services, along with establishing and strengthening partnerships with the community. The College is a vibrant, diverse, student-centered learning community, guided by the vision and mission of our founders. As an institution grounded in the educational empowerment, with application to career and technical studies, Coahoma prepares our graduates to be leaders of high integrity in their professions and communities. CCC alumni seek to heal those who suffer, teach those who search for knowledge, and provide innovative leadership in the business and nonprofit sectors. Our alumni are global citizens working diligently to be a positive, creative force in the region and the world. Please join our efforts. On behalf of the Coahoma community, I invite you to participate in our educational, artistic, and athletic programs. Most importantly, I encourage you to interact with our students and support their growth and development. Coahoma is a formidable force for good. Please join us in our noble endeavors. Together, we are Coahoma Community College.
