Twas fourteen days before Christmas and all through the Main Event Center at the Montgomery Co Fairgrounds, Santa’s elves (aka exhibitors) will be preparing for a fun holiday shopping experience. Can you hear the excitement? Jingle bells are ringing with friends and family getting into the holiday spirit. What better way to kick off or complete the holiday season than shopping with our wonderful exhibitors at the 9th Annual Mistletoe Magic Holiday Marketplace! Mistletoe Magic Holiday Marketplace show hours are 10am - 5pm on Saturday, December 9, and 11am - 4pm on Sunday, December 10. This show will, for another year, fulfill any shopper’s one-stop Christmas season shopping experience. Mrs. Claus’ small select group of direct sales will compliment great artists, crafters, and gourmet food. Streets of Mistletoe Magic will be lined with a delightful fusion of seasonally decorated booths.
Demonstrations will include painting, personalization, embroidery and more! Scents, samples and holiday music will add to the festivities. Gourmet gift foods will abound for those ‘have everything people‘. We will also have live holiday music throughout the weekend. He’s jolly with that special magical twinkle in his eye and as he strolls the streets of Mistletoe you will hear a Ho Ho Ho! Our fantastic Santa will be making appearances and will welcome photos all day Sunday. The kids might spot him in his baking apron, military fatigues or in his Christmas Eve suit of red crushed velvet and black leather boots...so be sure to have your camera to capture a few family pics to add to your holiday card this year. There will be plenty of photo opportunities at our Candy Store or Gingerbread house displays!
Admission is $5 at the door for adults with children 12 and under admitted free. Ample free parking and unlimited re-entry with our hand stamp. Mistletoe Magic…continues to bring Christmas magic to the Metro Dayton and surrounding area! Come see how exciting, fun and unique your holiday shopping can be!
Take a break and sit down at The Claus Café, have a bite to eat, visit with friends and show off your purchases in the Main Event Center dining area. We will be accepting unwrapped toys on behalf of the United States Marines to make sure everyone has a great Christmas. We hope a few Marines come and if so take a minute to thank them for their service. The Montgomery County Fairgrounds continues to recognize the contributions of agriculture and provide a lasting green space for the enjoyment of all residents of the county and the City of Dayton. The fairgrounds has the Main Event Center that is used for our Cloud Productions events. The building is temperature controlled with heat, restrooms and plenty of parking.

We are so happy that Santa Claus ALWAYS comes to Mistletoe Magic! This year he will be strolling the streets of Mistletoe Magic on Sunday 11:00-3:30. All children run to him when they see his real, snow white beard and hear that holly, jolly HOHOHO. Parents love his very own hand designed & hand-sewn attire: Cookie Baker, Toymaker, Military, Coca-Cola Santa, Old Saint Nick, Traditional Santa, Olde World Santa!!! You will be amazed at the design and detail in each outfit -- from his boots to his hand-tooled belt to the top of his head, Santa is authentic and real!! So bring your camera and the kids and snap a few pictures with Santa while you shop for the Christmas season. Basic Knots...and Viola!
Story
JoAnn Cortez has been creating Macrame for about 9-years, which believe it or not all started from a book in the crafts section in the library. She describes it as a craft of ages with the simple task of tying knots (basic knots to decorative patterns). Macrame for JoAnn started out as a hobby that has now turned into a small business doing shows beginning in October and continuing into December.
Author Greg Enslen, a Dayton- area mystery and thriller author will be on Mistletoe Blvd in booth 4A. He has written 32 books, including a mystery series and three novels. Greg also writes screenplays and binge guides for popular TV shows. Stop by Greg’s booth to grab some books to gift, because, well, books are always great gifts! Don’t forget to get them signed in person!
She does the traditional wall hangings similar to those from the 1960s. Her eldest daughter does the more modern types of wall hangings as well as necklaces and bracelets. Her other daughter makes macrame earrings and laser cut wooden ornaments. And most recently her grandson began to crochet and now sells crocheted animals. Other grandchildren have made macrame keychains. This adds a family dimension with a diversity of items that she now sells depending on the time of year. Look for this very talented lady, JoAnn on Snowflake Drive booth 50.

Mike finds painting and drawing simultaneously relaxing, challenging, and enjoyable. His ideas come from everyday things he sees and photos he takes. Mike has drawn and/or painted portraits, landscapes, cars, planes, pets, and more, and truly enjoys all of it. He also enjoys the challenge of plein air painting and life drawings. While primarily using oils and graphite, Mike has also used colored pencils, chaulk pastels, ink, acrylics, and charcoal. Most recently he has added silk floral arrangements to use his artistic talents. Mike’s art experience consists of fine art exhibitions, arts and crafts shows, and commission sales. He has received awards for his art and has displayed and sold pieces in a gallery. After a few years in Oklahoma, and many in Florida, this United States Air Force Veteran has returned to his native Ohio where he and his wife, semi-retired, plan to stay, as he continues to create and sell his art. The Homestead 937 was in the planning stages early in the spring of 2022. Joe and Peggy were sitting at Peggy’s childhood homestead farm and Peggy took a picture of the sun setting over the barn. This led to a dream becoming reality as the picture became the homepage of their website and the next day THE HOMESTEAD 937 was established. Peggy has an eye for beauty and has always had a passion for sourcing products to make your home or the clothes you are wearing beautiful. Jodie Hook, the owner of Jake and Beth, began her love of sewing and creating when she was a just a little kid, making amazing fashion for her dolls. As a teen, she was able to take sewing lessons to learn all about garment construction and even made her own clothes. Once she had her own children her passion turned to creating for them. She decided to start her shop as a side hustle in April of 2015. Quickly she realized how much she loved it, so she quit her job and made Jake and Beth a full time business in November 2015. It has been an exciting adventure so far & she is looking forward to what the future brings. Look for Jodie on Snowflake Drive booth 56!
Rock Daddy Brent Allred brings his gems and minerals to Dayton’s Mistletoe Magic from Indiana. Rock Daddy is the name of his business which is a bounty of beautiful raw and polished natural rocks of varying size and colors. From geodes to clusters, and fossils to petrified wood, Brent is sure to answer any question and direct you in selecting that special rock. Check out his rock related jewelry! Cotton Run Rustic Design Melanie Brunner and Amy Kidwell with their Cotton Run Rustic Designs will be making their Mistletoe Magic debut this December. They create painted and 3-dimensional wooden home décor, lanterns, trays, wooden boxes, floral decorations, signs, and more. It’s evident that friends Melanie and Amy enjoy crafting as much as they enjoy attending shows. Cotton Run Rustic Designs is a must-visit booth when you get to Dayton for Mistletoe Magic! Unlike many soap companies, the soaps and lotion made by Little Red Dog Soap Co are primarily made using grass-fed beef tallow, just like our great-great grandparents used to do. She is a local to Ohio and always loved leather products but didn’t start the business until she felt God called her to begin it! Fast forwarding to now, she is so excited to officially have begun with her first product, unique and colorful card holder wallets! Established in October 2023, she stands by her motto, “The Leather with Personality!” and can’t wait to show the world what she brings to the table of handcrafted leather goods! Donna’s floral artistry is absolutely beautiful and when you visit her booth on Candy Cane Lane you will understand. Her seasonal arrangements go from small to large for that small table or a centerpiece for your holiday dinners with family and friends. Then a wonderful selection of wreaths for the front door and statement pieces like the Santa featured here. Make sure to make your way to Donna’s booth 69 on Candy Cane Lane.

While product themes are Boho, positivity, military, and seasonal, Passion Designs welcome custom orders. Marisol says, “It started out as an idea and it transformed into a passion. We love our time together and creating! We might be a small company but we are mighty and here to make our dream come true!”
Kristan Lantosh Boutique Kristan Lantosh’s creative talent was nurtured by her Grandma Ruth, whose loving guidance taught Kristan to sew, crochet, and embroider. Kristan then went on to design floral pieces and fashion jewelry for family and friends. Her passion for jewelry design has been a journey in self-discovery as she learned to bead and wire wrap, becoming proficient in peyote stitch bracelets and Boho jewelry. Kristan’s business started in 2008 as KASL Kreations and has now become Kristan Lantosh Boutique. Adjoas Cards and Crafts Maggie Ryan is the creator of Adjoa’s Cards and Crafts. She decided to launch a card and craft making business to share the vibrance and beauty of Ghana, which is represented in the beautiful fabric produced in Ghana. and I believe those attributes are evident in the beautiful fabric that is used and produced in Ghana. It is Maggie’s hope to show others that we are all connected, no matter the distance and that we are all “cut from the same cloth” of humanity. 36th Anniversary of Springtime in Ohio Craft Show Saturday & Sunday, May 4 & 5, 2024 Springtime in Ohio 2023 had great weather and a full house of vendors at the May show and we are planning for another great show with nice weather again next year. We are mentioning weather in a very quiet voice not to jinx things because we all know “Ohio Weather”! Springtime in Ohio will take place May 4 and 5, 2024 at the Hancock County Fairgrounds, in Findlay, Ohio with a full house of crafters from multiple states. Show admission for tickets is $6.00 per adult and kids 12 and under are free with an adult. There is our Early Bird entry from 8am to 10am at $8.00 per ticket. Early Bird tickets must be purchased online. If you purchase your tickets in advance online by going to our website it helps you get through the gate faster and parked so you can shop! Dayton Digital Woodworking has been a hobby “that got way out of hand”. Paul has been doing woodworking for 50 years. He started with Laser cutting and engraving 15 years ago progressing to thicker wood and CNC routing and carving 10 years ago. People started asking for color and that led to UV printing, sublimation and laser transfer printing. Woodworking has changed from the old hand methods to a more computer based form of design. These methods need to be passed on to the younger generation as this is the future of manufacturing. With the help of computers we are only limited by our imagination. They both bring ideas to something they love to do and share in all the challenges and triumphs that the business has. Amy, a passionate home decorator, and a crafter wanted to create a brand that not only her friends and family could enjoy and also allow her to share her love of candles with others. Artful endeavor Tracys Funny Farm In the Bag Stephanie Irick from Blanchester, Ohio is the talented designer and seamstress behind “In the Bag by Stephanie”. Stephanie designs high quality handmade fabric bags, totes and purses and some are reversable. There are many colors, fabrics, designs that she can design for you. I checked out the reviews and they were amazing! From beautiful to excellent seamstress to love it and so on. Look for Stephanie in booth 31 & 32 on Snowflake Drive.

Be sure to stop by booth 76 on Candy Cane Lane to be in wonder and awe of Tracy’s wonderful assortment of holiday decor like her two foot tall snowmen and floral wreaths. She sources real cedar, juniper berries, and pine cones from her 14 acre sheep farm to create an assortment of festive pieces. Tracy has been crafting out of her garage for the past several years, and yet still devotes time to assist with domestic animal rescues.

The Wandering Peddler LoAnn Persinger Ellis was six years old when her Grandmothers’ instructed her on crochet and embroidery, and she has been crafting ever since, going full-time since retirement, with the creations of The Wandering Peddler in 2014. LoAnn creates year-round, breathing life into used items, re-using and re-cycling to avoid landfills, to produce unique and one-of-a-kind items. Her husband Dan is her Craft Show Roadie setting up the fixtures and is with her every step of the way. The Wandering Peddler will be on Candy Cane Lane in booths 90 & 91.

S&S Body Care S&S Body Care came about due to Nadine Smith seeking a solution for her grandson’s severe eczema. After trying multiple skin care products, Nadine researched home remedies from her Jamaican homeland. She perfected formulas using different oils, herbs, spices, and plants which brought relief to her grandson that other products lacked. Happily, Nadine has been a vendor at all Cloud Shows since 2021. Nadine and her S&S Body Care will be on Mistletoe Blvd in booths 18 & 19.

NOVELS Linessa Brunswick’s Undercover Novels got their official start in late 2022 and continues to be a passion project. As an avid reader, she loves introducing new authors and new genres to someone who may not give an author or book a try based on the book’s cover art. Undercover Novels allows Linessa to work with her daughter, especially packaging the books and pair them with custom stickers and bookmarks. How about a Blind Date with a Book?
