2024
Come and bring a friend along to enjoy the 6th Annual Sweet Spring Marketplace at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds on March 23 and 24. This fun shopping experience will be promoting craftsmanship and businesses in the climate controlled Main Event Center. The show is always bustling with smiling shoppers and new and returning exhibitors.
Sweet Spring Marketplace will surely put us in the mood for Spring and thinking about the perfect spot for new pieces of garden art, birdhouses, and other whimsical
items. Let’s not forget to pick up Easter treats for the kiddos’ baskets, and some Easter décor for the front door or the family dining table. While strolling up and down the aisles we’ll meet and explore the many exhibitor’s talents on Bluebell Boulevard, Petunia Place, Daffodil Drive and Sweet Pea Street. It is never too early to be looking for those special Mother’s Day gifts, as well as gifts for graduations, weddings and baby showers.
Be ready to shop at booths filled with sewn, embroidered, and crocheted items; candles and accent lighting; houseplants and wind chimes; new and repurposed pieces for the home and garden; pottery, ceramics, and woodcrafts; and jewelry and childrens’ boutiques. Amidst these great crafter’s booths will be gift foods of kettle corn, breads, and cakes; honey, sauces, and dips; freeze dried candy, lollipops, and dipped pretzels! The select group of home and personal consultants include Watkins, Scentsy, Tastefully Simple, and Discovery Toys. Splurge… Indulge…Enjoy!
Of course we will have food at the Daisy Café, where we can have a snack and take a rest.
The $5 general admission gets us into the show from 10am - 5pm Saturday and 11am-4pm Sunday. We can
request a ticket for complimentary re-admission to return to the show on Sunday. Children 12 and under are admitted free. As a big Thank You to our military families in the surrounding Dayton area, we will again be doing the BOGO on both days. Show a Military ID at the door to receive the Buy one Get one admission.
look forward to seeing everyone at the 6th Annual Sweet Spring Marketplace!
Let’s Make this the Best Year Yet!
Spring is a good time to give back to the community and during the 6th Annual Sweet Spring Marketplace on March 23 and 24 at the Main Event Center at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, we will be accepting nonperishable food and household items to help support The Foodbank of Dayton/Miami Valley. This foodbank provides an infrastructure for more than 100 member food pantries, community kitchens, and shelters that serve in Montgomery, Green and Preble Counties. This is a great cause for the wonderful communities and a special way to show some love! We look forward to our sixth year helping support The Foodbank of Dayton/Miami Valley and are hoping to exceed last year’s contribution! BRING 5 non-perishable items and you will receive a ticket to the Mistletoe Magic Holiday Marketplace in December.
ENTER TO WIN
There will be fun games & drawings at the Enter to Win Booth. Bringing a non-perishable food item or paying $1 will give you a chance to spin Esther’s Wheel of Fun or play the Daisy Drop (plinko). Everyone is a winner!
There are also drawings at the Enter To Win Booth at least every hour, and often more frequently. Winners from these drawings receive a wide variety of wonderful items donated by our exhibitors . You will receive an entry form when you arrive to take to the Enter to Win booth. Names will be announced and you need to be present to win.

His shirts and hoodies, bags and satchels, and hats allow you to wear what you believe. Kingdom Things can be found on Daffodi Drive in booth 89.
Ohio Barn Quilts
Joan White has been quilting for a while now, yet it was her mother-in-law who introduced full-on hand quilting to her. Joan enjoyed piecing vintage fabric together, forming quilt tops, and admiring all the different patterns within the quilts. And Joan wanted to share the beauty of the quilts to all passersby. Her first barn quilt was an Ohio Star on their new out-building, and then the calls came from those who saw it driving by and put their orders in for their own special barn quilt. Joan’s Ohio Barn Quilts will be on Bluebell Blvd, booth 5.

Treat yourself or someone special with a truly unique writing instrument. Buckeye Pens are on Bluebell Boulevard, booth 08.

Lee’s Freeze Dried Frenzy

After researching the production of freeze dried candy, they sell their candy at What’s the Scoop? Ice Cream Shop in Brookville, Ohio and make this amazing candy seven days a week. The entire family is involved in taste-testing, making, and packaging the candies. Carlene says, “The grandkids love working the shows. They are learning how to sell and market the product and to have good communication skills for talking and making eye contact with customers. We love what we do and enjoy talking to each and every customer about the exciting business of freeze dried candy making.” Stop by, say hello, enjoy samples and decide which is your favorite! Lee’s Freeze Dried Frenzy is on Daffodil Drive, booth 86.
Icy Jean Crafts
Sweet Spring Marketplace welcomes first time exhibitor Brianne Hannah, a jewelry maker and resin crafter. We’ll find Brianne and her Icy Jean Crafts on Daffodil Drive, in booth 75, and she’ll have trays, domino sets, book markers, keychains, and coasters among her jewelry.
The scRUMptious Dessert
Gabrielle Little’s boozy bakery will have all of us hooked from the first bite! Her specialized cakes have rum as the secret ingredient that lets us indulge in the cakes’ delicious flavor. Gabrielle’s early baking began by helping her mother bake rum cakes for the holiday season, and with her grandmother’s encouragement, Gabrielle pursued a baking and pastry degree, which has led her to living out her drunken bakery dream. Go treat yourself at Gabrielle’s scRUMptious Desserts on Petunia Place, booth 37, or perhaps even put in a special order of rum cakes for one of your upcoming events.

Susan is self taught through the Internet and each piece you will see is hand woven, one ring at a time, using ywo pairs of pliers, opening and closing each ring to create amazing pieces. You will find necklaces, earrings, bracelets, wallet chains, key chains, pot scrubbers, wire wrapped crystal pendants and more. Susan is also thrilled to create a custom piece for you. A Bit of an Accent
Jacquie Pollitt has always enjoyed creating things. A few years ago she was designing and making teddy bears; today she creates unique home and garden accent pieces. A Bit of an Accent began when Jacquie found a picture frame with a great frame, but not a great picture. So then the framed bottle idea came to her. The glass bottles can easily change with the seasons/holiday, and of course going to flea markets, thrift stores, and elsewhere is thrilling in search of items with character and give them new life. Jacquie shared, “I really like the whole process from shopping/hunting for those special items to creating the unique piece to interacting with customers. I meet so many wonderful people in this business; they inspire and encourage my creative passion. I am very excited about what else is out there to discover.” Jacquie and A Bit of an Accent will be on Bluebell Blvd, booth 4.

Glorified Graphics LLC will be on Petunia Place, booth 50.
Penny’s Paws Pastries
