Youth Portion of Deer Season Opens Youth Firearms Deer Season takes place this weekend. Youth hunters between 6 and 15 years of age are allowed to participate in the Youth portion of deer season. Cloud 9 Ranch hunters must follow both Missouri Hunting Laws and Cloud 9 Ranch Hunting Regulations. Cloud 9 Ranch hunters over the age of 10 must have a Cloud 9 Ranch hunting permit. Adults that accompany youth hunters 10 years and older must have a valid Ranch Hunting permit. The Missouri Department of Conservation offers hunter safety courses beginning at age 11. If you would like more information about hunter safety courses please visit the Missouri Conservation website at www.mdc.mo.gov Please remember that firearms must be enclosed and unloaded during transport. Remember, vehicles used for hunting must have a Ranch issued vehicle tag visible while left unattended. If you are using a portable deer stand,

each stand must have the Owner’s name, interest number and date of set-up clearly shown and securely attached to the stand. If you have any questions about hunting rules and regulations, Ranch staff will be glad to assist you by answering any questions or concerns you may have. Both ATV riders, Hikers and Hunters will be sharing the woods. Please use safety, caution and courtesy while enjoying Cloud 9 Ranch. It is recommended that all who are in the woods during deer season wear a “hunters orange” clothing. See Page 2 For More Information on Ranch Hunting
