HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK!
Our Year 9 Girls’ Athletics team secured first place against Bristol Grammar School and Redmaids at the Girls’ Athletics Festival. Our Year 7, 8 and 10 girls all achieved impressive second-place finishes. A special mention to the girls who excelled in the 100m track event, winning their races across Years 7, 8, 9 and 10! Also, seven pupils achieved first place in the respective events. A huge well done to everyone.

It was fantastic to see the boys’ U13A Futsal team so engaged and enjoying the tournament on Tuesday.
Throughout the event it was wonderful to watch the pupils showcase their skills, especially given the challenge posed by the weight of the ball!
Due to the weather forecast, please keep an eye out for updated information on SOCS about Saturday fixtures.

ROSE DAY HISTORY

As we approach Rose Day in a few weeks time, we thought it might be nice to share a picture from Rose Day in 1962 (as seen here). This year will mark 80 years of us holding our service at Bristol Cathedral, previous to this it was held at Clifton Cathedral and our Main Hall. This very special day was created by our first Headmistress, Miss Mary Woods. What a wonderful tradition she created!
