The high-quality experiences that take place in and out of the classroom inspire a thirst for learning that subsequently creates a successful learning culture.

Pupils are encouraged to ask ‘Why…? What if…? How can I find out more? A wide range of opportunities before, during and after school grow a fascination and passion for learning about the world and beyond. Pupils embrace homework because it offers opportunities to learn more and challenges their thinking.

Lessons provide opportunities for independent thought, whilst our pastoral programme and wider opportunities develop the characteristics of independence to allow our pupils to flourish in the wider world after they have left us.

SECURING FUTURES

Our Gold Standard careers information and guidance provision provides our students with opportunities to investigate and experience a breadth of careers and higher education opportunities from their first days with us until they leave for further education or apprenticeships.

Ofsted (2022) saw that “opportunities to prepare pupils for employment, higher education or training are given a high priority. The provision of careers is a real strength of the school”.

For those pupils who stay with us post 16 our sixth form provision shared with Kenilworth School enables us to offer a vast suite of academic and vocational qualifications.
