A Philosophy of Leadership A Work in Progress I believe that a leader should reflect the expecta9ons they have for their staff. Crea9ng an ins9tu9onal culture begins at the top. I believe a leader should foster a culture of care within the organiza9on. Just like outside issues can affect a student’s academic success, personal events can affect professional success. By suppor9ng our staff personally we encourage a culture of care and apprecia9on that posi9vely reflects in the work environment. I believe a leader should grow other leaders. By delega9ng responsibili9es and promo9ng professional development, we provide opportuni9es for staff to grow and be successful.
