Year 4
OVERVIEW
This year, the children have participated in a wide range of activities which allowed them to express themselves. Sport continues to be a popular feature of the weekly timetable with Fergus particularly enjoying the opportunities of competitive team sports. The Jack and the Beanstalk production at the end of the year gave children the opportunity to showcase their creativity and develop acting skills alongside speaking in front of a group of people. Oscar, Georgia and Azfar commented on how the play and the EnglishSpeaking Board examinations encouraged them to become more resilient and understand the meaning of “practise makes perfect”. We wish all the pupils the best of luck moving into Year 5 and we are certain that they will continue to thrive with all the Prep School has to offer.

A highlight of the year, was the three-day residential trip to Marchants Hill, where the children demonstrated their courage in rock climbing and zip wiring amongst other activities. The excursion provided children with an opportunity to grow in independence.

“Marchants Hill helped me to build on existing friendships and make new ones.” - Thea
