RESIDENTIAL KIT LIST Here is a list of the clothing and equipment that your son/ daughter will need during their residential trip: • • • • • •

T-shirts Sweatshirts and jumpers Extra T-shirts or thermal tops Warm tops Thick and thin socks for walking Two pairs of trousers (for physical activity, not jeans) Underwear Pyjamas/nightwear Swimwear (they will not be made to swim if they don’t want to) Trainers that they don’t mind getting wet or muddy Walking boots (if they already have them) A waterproof jacket Casual clothes for the evening Toiletries: bath towel, shower gel, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush and anything else that they use Sanitary products for the girls Glasses/contact lenses and solution if they wear them Any prescribed medication that they are on or allergy medication. Please ensure they bring enough to last the week and inform us of any medication that they may need Sun cream.
Week two residential Similar to week one, except they will need casual and smart clothing for different activities during the day. How much money do they need? Whilst on residential everything is provided, however, for snacks and other items we suggest a maximum of £10 a week. What should they leave at home? We are not able to insure personal belongings such as mobile phones, iPods, cameras, jewellery, watches etc. If your son/daughter chooses to bring these items, it will be at their own risk. They are advised to leave any unnecessary or expensive items at home. All types of knives, drugs and alcohol are prohibited, this applies to all parts of the programme.
