Artist Highlight-Poet Laureate
Emerita D.L. Lang Ars Poetica Poetry is the outcry for justice at the top of our lungs. Poetry is the rainbow breathing light into the sky. Poetry is the warmest hug from your closest friends. Poetry is the sweetest wine from an infinite bottle of beauty. Poetry radiates the aroma of fresh baked winter cookies. Poetry will blow your mind into universes left untouched by mere mortals floating through life blinded by simplicity. Poetry would eat the moon for breakfast and snack on the stars, washing it down with the comets fiery light. Poetry performs with blind confidence in the truth and absurdity. Poetry flies steady, observing madness, distilling it into perfection. Poetry is the infinite adventure accessible to every human who would dare to step forward into the unknown. Poetry is the ultimate trip and we are the visionaries, demanding joyous, loving futures yet unrealized.
