Senior club Calling All Seniors Are you bored, new to Vacaville, want to make new friends or do something different? The Vacaville Senior Club may be able to help. We are a fairly small group of seniors from our 50’s thru our 80’s. We have many activities which might be up just what you are looking for.

The Senior Club sponsors Bingo every Tuesday afternoon at the John McBride Senior Center (91 Town Square Place in Vacaville – next to the downtown Library). The cost is $5 for a pack and is open to anyone over the age of 21. You do not have to be a member of the Senior Club to play. As all money is split among the 15 games we play, including a $50 coverall - regular games pay at least $25. Bring your lunch or a snack if you want and come join us. The room is large and there is no smoking.

Sales begin at 12 and continue until 12:40 and the games begin at 1:00.

Once a month the Senior Club sponsors a trip to one of the many casinos around Vacaville. Did you know there are 14 casinos within an hour and a half of our town? The public is invited to join us (as long as they are over 21). The normal cost is $35 and includes transportation in a newer, air conditioned bus, snacks, camaraderie and bingo on the bus. Up coming trips are: Colusa Casino on August 23, 2018, Feather Falls with a stop for ice cream sundaes on our way home on September 23, 2018 and Red Hawk Casino and High Hill Ranch in Apple Hill for a BBQ Lunch on October 11, 2018. Tickets may be purchased in the Senior Club Office, Tuesday thru Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 Our Senior Club Meets the second Monday of each month. We have speakers who bring us info pertinent to seniors and our needs. We serve free pizza and punch and serve cake to celebrate that month’s birthdays.

Every so often we have a luncheon where we play games and have raffle prizes. Come and join us. Our meetings are at 12 in the Bingo Room at the Senior Center. Membership dues are $10 with $8 a year renewals.

2. Read directions; be sure to complete application entirely as incomplete answers or blanks result in application not being processed.

3. Return application to McBride Senior Center front desk or mail to Vacaville Friends of Seniors, 91 Town Square Place, Vacaville, CA 95688. ***Note: Requests need to be submitted at least one month prior to class/program start date.

Once received, 1. You’ll be notified within one week regarding application status.

2.
