CITY HALL & OTHER FACILITIES WILL REOPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON MONDAY, MARCH 7
South El Monte City Hall and other facilities will reopen to the public on Monday, March 7, 2022. All health guidelines and orders will be in place at all City facilities.
FACILITY OPERATION HOURS • City Hall: Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm • Community Center: Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm • Senior Center: Monday through Friday during senior recreational programming. Call the Senior Center at (626) 448-0131 for more information. • Public Safety Center: Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 12 noon & 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm The City had previously closed its facilities to walk-ins on January 5, 2022, during the surge in COVID-19 cases. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We remain dedicated to the South El Monte community with the safety of the public and our employees as top priority.

IN-PERSON CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS TO RESUME AT CITY HALL
Beginning March 8, 2022, City Council meetings will resume to in-person at City Hall inside the Council Chambers. Regular City Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month beginning at 6 p.m.

All COVID-19 safety protocols established by the Los Angeles County Department of Health will be enforced to keep both the public and City staff safe during meetings. Please be advised that in-person meetings are subject to cancellation due to the ongoing pandemic.
