CITY MANAGER’S MESSAGE

As we turn the pages of this edition, we’re reminded of what makes Murrieta such a special place—our people, our progress, and our shared sense of connection. This issue highlights the many ways our City continues to grow while staying true to the values that unite us.

Inside, you’ll find an introduction to our Municipal Services Department, showcasing the dedicated team that keeps Murrieta running smoothly every day. We also celebrate major milestones, such as the Murrieta Hot Springs Road Widening Project, a vital investment in our City’s future, and the exciting Murrieta Children’s Library Expansion, which will open new chapters for young readers and families.

Be sure to explore our Business Spotlights, where local entrepreneurs share their inspiring stories, and mark your calendars for community events that bring us together—from the heartfelt Veterans Parade to festive holiday celebrations, such as Santa Stops.

Each story in this issue reflects what it means to be Connected by Community neighbors supporting neighbors, celebrating progress, and building a bright future together.

Welcome, and enjoy this edition of Murrieta Magazine!

MURRIETA HOT SPRINGS ROAD

One of the most eagerly awaited improvements has officially begun-widening of Murrieta Hot Springs Road. This nine month construction project will not only expand traffic capacity but will also significantly enhance safety and accessibility for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians along one of Murrieta’s busiest corridors from Margarita Rd to Winchester Rd. GLEN ARBOR DOG PARK GRAND OPENING

The recent grand opening of the Glen Arbor Dog Park has created a buzz, offering an incredible space where dogs and their owners can play, exercise, and socialize. With its spacious open areas, shaded spots, and plenty of room for our furry friends, it’s sure to become a favorite destination for pet lovers! The improvements include the addition of two brand-new, fenced-in dog parks; one for small dogs and one for larger breeds, giving Murrieta’s four-legged friends their own safe, welcoming space to run, play, and socialize.

Whether you are bringing your kids for an afternoon at the playground, enjoying a walk along the new pathways, or letting your dog run free in the designated play areas, Glen Arbor Park now offers something special for everyone.

MURRIETA CHILDREN’S LIBRARY EXPANSION GROUNDBREAKING

A new chapter has begun at the Murrieta Public Library. The City broke ground on the Children’s Library Expansion on September 4, a project that will provide more space, resources, and programming opportunities for young readers and their families. This expansion represents a direct investment in the future of Murrieta’s children and the growing needs of the community. There’s still time to contribute to the library’s legacy by scanning the QR code and getting involved. This project is adding 4,500 square feet and a complete remodel and expansion of the enclosed Carol Carson Garden of Versus.
