GUEST AUTHORS Jim Sinclair Jim's book You Were Designed is rooted in science and math, yet it reads like a cold-case mystery. Expert radio technician and author, Jim has unearthed an improbable connection between two sets of numbers that at first glance appear to be completely unrelated. Like a good detective story, Jim systematically lays down clues from both sets of numbers and allows the reader to connect the dots.

Satish Gupta Satish was born in India, educated in India, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Further to his romantic thriller Daughter With a Mission, his third novel The Moguls of India is about corruption in high places and his fourth novel which is currently being completed is a political thriller based in Australia.

Christine Ellis Christine grew up in Broken Hill and credits this unique outback mining city for providing her with remarkable career opportunities as a nurse, television presenter and journalist, regional development executive and as the first female manager on a Broken Hill mine.

Silver Lies, Golden Truths: Broken Hill, a gentle German and two world wars is her first book.

Christine Lavender Christine was born in Adelaide and is the author of two editions of an academic book and during her university teaching career, she published a number of international refereed journals. She was Adademic Director of a design and business college in Shanghai, China and had an association with the city between 2002 and 2012. The memoir Bound: An Expatriate's Journey to China and Beyond emerged from these experiences.

Never Carry Your Own Briefcase is the always personal, often humorous story of a muchtravelled Australian Trade Commissioner and gives us a unique glimpse into Austrade's endeavours over decades, via the on-theground experiences of one of its longestserving officers. Allgrove's lively anecdotes provide an insight into the social and cultural landscapes of the locations he called home.

When Claire was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago, she found writing cathartic in helping her get through the long treatment for this disease. Australian Hero, Rodney Fox, will enthral the whole family with tales about his experiences with sharks and will talk about his book 'Sharks, the sea and me'. Rodney became famous in the summer of 1963 when he survived a brutal shark attack off a suburban beach.

Over five decades he has led hundreds of expeditions to introduce filmmakers, scientists, shark researchers and tourists to one of the world's great adventures - each endeavour adding grand stories to an exciting life. He also runs Rodney Fox Great White Expeditions, an eco-friendly shark cage diving operation in South Australia. We invite 10 to 13 year olds to join us in a fun book club where you will be able to browse new books, magazines and DVDs. Have fun doing an exciting craft and also learn the art of writing your own stories. Club meets once a month on Wednesdays after school. Snacks provided

In this session kids learn to express themselves through painting and also learn great techniques.
