Plus, you can request a replacement ballot, vote using an accessible ballot marking device, and receive voting assistance in multiple languages.

Here to help you fulfill your responsibility
Many homeowners are surprised to learn that they’re personally responsible for maintaining the sidewalk adjacent to their property.* But the City’s Operations and Maintenance Division is available to help with what could be an intimidating responsibility. Simply call the O&M Division and a representative will come out to inspect your sidewalk and guide you through the best path for repairs, maintenance, or complete removal and replacement. Staff can also inform owners on how to prevent sidewalk displacements and good maintenance tips for keeping your property’s sidewalks safe and attractive. Contact the Public Works Operations and Maintenance Division at (916) 687-3005 to schedule an inspection today. *According to Municipal Code, section 12.05, and California Streets and Highways Code 5610. 4

Completion of the new roundabout at Bradshaw and Sheldon Roads has paved the way for the next round of roadway improvements on the east side of the city. Waterman Road between Bond Road and Sheldon Road will be closed for 30 days in September and October for pavement reconstruction in that area. Construction crews will widen the road and shoulders, correct drainage deficiencies, and add bike lanes. These improvements will be consistent with the City’s Rural Roads Policy. For construction updates, visit elkgrovecity.org.
