April’s Showers Bring May Flowers…and Weeds
These weeds are not only annoying, they’re also a safety hazard—reducing visibility and increasing risk of fire. The City employs a rigorous maintenance schedule to help keep our 63 acre miles of roadsides and trails clear of weeds through the use of tractor mowers, weed eaters, shovels, and federal, state, and locally permitted herbicides. Spraying is scheduled during the months of November through February, weather permitting, with touch up and spot spraying occurring April through May.
