Responsibility: City Manager November 1, 2021 Update Staff and the Florida Highwaymen are preparing to submit a $500,000 grant to the Department of State to complete renovations to the Jackie Caynon building, the site of the museum project. The Highwaymen organization has enlisted the assistance of some local supporters to help them plan and coordinate fund raisers to boost the number of presale vouchers for the Highwaymen Specialty License Plate. As of October 10, 2021, 98 vouchers have been purchased. The organization has until October 2022 to sell 2,902 vouchers before the new specialty license plate will be manufactured and available.
