November 1, 2021 Update

The master plan and cost analysis for the historic Lincoln Theater have been completed by REG Architects. This achievement puts the MLK, Jr. Commemorative Committee in position to apply for grants. The organization has hired a grant writer to assist them in their pursuit of grant opportunities. An update on the Root project, which is utilizing the vacant properties next the theater, during the December FPRA meeting. The Lincoln Park Professionals began activating the parcels by hosting a monthly event on the second Saturday, called Buy Back The Block. The event offers local vendors and opportunity to engage with our citizens and promote their business or service.
