Mode of study: Part-time study or full-time study.

Programme requirements: The diploma programme complies with the Ministry of Education Executive Order no. 1012 of 02/07/2018 defining the framework for the Programme objectives, structure, admission rules, content and examinations etc. of the Diploma of Leadership.

The diploma programme consists of six courses (modules): Three compulsory modules totaling 30 ECTS-points.

A number of elective modules, corresponding to 15 ECTS-points.

An interdisciplinary project, corresponding to 15 ECTS-points.

5. INFORMATION ON THE FUNCTION OF THE QUALIFICATION 5.1

Access to further study: The Diploma of Leadership gives general access to relevant Master’s Programmes following two years of professional experience after graduation.

5.2

Professional status: The Diploma of Leadership aims at improving adults' qualifications and their personal and professional skills with special attention given to the management of public and commercial organisations.

6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 6.1

Additional information: The programmes are special education programmes for adults.

Relevant work experience is part of the entrance requirements but it is not recognised as part of the education programmes. However the content and teaching methods are to a high degree based on the life and work experience of the adults; this is an important rationale for organising the education programmes in relatively compact programmes (60 ECTS) at levels that are comparable with the levels in the ordinary higher education programmes.
