Guest Speaker Bios Dr. Kimberly Butler Dr. Butler is a native of San Angelo, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University where she received a Bachelors of Art degree in Biology. Upon graduation, she entered Hahnemann University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Butler graduated from Hahenmann in 1997 and began her residency training at the University of Texas- Houston, in Family Practice in 1997. She was voted and served as chief resident (the highest honor a resident physician can achieve) Dr. Butler returned to the University of Texas – Houston as Assistant Professor for from 2002-2007 and again 2011-2014.

Afterwards Dr. Butler took the helm of leadership and became Chief Medical Officer of Central Care Clinics a large Federal Qualified Health Center. She helped expand their footprint across Houston, providing care to the underserved, underinsured lower socioeconomic and those affected by the social disparities of healthcare. Upon her desire to expand within her community Dr. Butler began a career at Avenue 360 Health and Wellness as a clinician and in leadership. Providing care for communities in South Central region of Houston, educating medical students at the University of Houston Medical School and expanding healthcare access for those with HIV, high risk for STI and providing PrEP for HIV prevention to those most affected…..

African American men and women. Continuing to follow God’s direction, Dr. Butler then joined the groundbreaking and expanding MyCHN at the Technology site providing full scale Family Medicine Over the years, she has served her community in many different capacities.

She has a passion for educating people about the many diseases that affect our communities and prevention. A goal of her is to decrease the disparities of healthcare among our community. She has a special commitment to our Black adolescent population to educate them on knowing their bodies and sexual health. Her goal is to provide today’s youth with the main weapon to protect themselves - knowledge. She has previously spoken at the Houston Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc; Teen Summit II & III which reached out to approximately 500 teens and pre-teens.

As well as spoken at local churches on the subject “Your Body is A Holy Temple”. She is a member of American Medical Association, American Association of Family Medicine, South Belt Houston Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Bay Area Houston Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and Silverlake Church. Despite her busy schedule, she is committed to giving back to the community in any manner that will help fulfill the needs of that community. Her motto is making a healthy community one person at a time.

Dr. Butler is marriage to Coye Devrouax for 17 years with one son Zachary 14 years old and resides in Pearland, Texas.

Guest Speaker Bios Dana Holman

Dana Holman was raised in Gary, Indiana by her paternal grandmother.

She has four children, with one being deceased and a grandmother of four.

She is the owner of The Intentional Living Experience where her purpose is to help you discover your purpose and passion through intenionality. She is a Certified Life Coach, speaker, facilitator, Certfied Human Behavior Consultant as well as a Certfied Youth Mental Health First Aid Responder.

Her background consists of working in the criminal justice system as a paralegal in criminal law, civil litigaton, and Special Victims Unit; child abuse, sex crimes and domestic violence, where she is also a victim’s advocate. She is currently a Financial Coach through Primerica Financial Services. Dana moved to Cypress, Texas from Indianapolis, Indiana in 2021. Dana has always had a heart to serve people in any capacity she was able. She gives back through philanthropy work, mentoring youth and young adults as well as crea>ng workshops to empower her community.

She is a business owner, an author, and a servant for God.
