Early Pay is a mobile app that gives you flexibility in how you take your pay. It is like pay on-demand which means you can take some of your pay early, in the case of an emergency.
Early Pay lets you see how much you could withdraw from the wages you’ve earned so far in a month. You can withdraw some of these funds and the money will then appear in your bank account in a few minutes.
Your drawdown balance will be updated once a week, (by Wednesday midday), by the payroll team and it will only include shifts already completed, between the 1st and the Sunday prior, as per your Timegate diary.
As an example, by Wednesday 19th March 2025, the update in Early Pay will be for the period Saturday 1st March 2025 to Sunday 16th March 2025.
Only worked and confirmed shifts will be included in the available balance; holidays will not be included.
A maximum 50% of your earned shifts (with a £400 cap) in a calendar month. A transaction fee of £2.95 will also apply for every transaction you make. For example, if you withdraw £50 on the 17th March, and a further £50 on the 19th March, then on pay day 10th April, you will have a deduction of £105.90. This is for the two withdrawal amounts of £50 plus. £2.95 fee for each transaction made.

It is not possible to postpone or split any of the drawdown amounts. These will be deducted from the next available pay date. We advise that you only withdraw if absolutely necessary and only if you know you can afford to have a deduction of your next wages.
► Only withdraw if it is absolutely necessary.
► Keep any withdrawals to a minimum, to avoid re-occurring transaction fees. The payroll team can review and suspend individual access if Early Pay is not used responsibly.
► Early Pay works in line with our pay periods which are calendar months. Balances will revert to zero on the 1st of each month and you will not be able to withdraw funds until the payroll team has updated the system
► Early Pay will be locked by 5pm on the last day of each month and reactivated on payday
Early Pay is a great benefit if used responsibly. It is important to understand this is not a loan facility and therefore all amounts withdrawn will be deducted from the next available pay day with no exceptions. In case of misuse, the payroll team will have the option to suspend individuals from using Early Pay.

Each time you choose to draw down your wages ahead of your scheduled payday using EarlyPay, you will incur a transaction fee
Please check in with your HR/Payroll team, or click the 'Get paid now' button in the EarlyPay app which will show you how much you can draw down alongside the transaction fee.
Please speak with your manager or/and seek help from organisations such as Money Advice Trust if you are struggling with managing your finances
When you receive your pay slip on your scheduled payroll date, you will see an amount corresponding to the drawdowns you have made during the month PLUS the transaction fees for the number of drawdowns made You can view this in the 'History' tab in the EarlyPay app
With the transaction fee accompanying each early drawdown of your wages, it may be worth considering how much you need per transaction. Drawing down a higher proportion of your wages may in turn mean that you do not incur the transaction costs again.
With this in mind, it may be worth viewing your previous drawdowns in the 'History' tab to guide you toward taking the right amount in that first transaction.
EarlyPay was created with emergency situations in mind Now more than ever, more of us will be facing harder financial times EarlyPay should be used as an in case of emergency measure Please do not rely upon EarlyPay to solve underlying debt issues.
