Assist,
Here at CIS we get very excited with news of baby births!
We provide a ‘welcome to this world’ gift for all new arrivals, send directly to the home address of the new parents.
Email payroll@cis-security.co.uk and inform the payroll team of the date that your baby was born. Please ensure your direct line manager is also copied on the communication.
The Cycle to Work initiative gives you the opportunity to sacrifice part of your salary in return for one bicycle and/or selected safety equipment up to the value of €1,250 for pedal bicycles & accessories or up to €1,500 for ebikes & accessories, which should be used primarily for part or all journeys to/from work and/or between work locations.
The purpose of the scheme is to encourage more colleagues to cycle to and from work, or between workplaces, thereby contributing to lowering carbon emissions, reducing traffic congestion, and improving health and fitness levels.
Under the scheme you don’t pay Income Tax, PRSI or Universal Social Charge on the price of the bicycle and/or safety equipment so you can save up to 52% depending on your marginal tax rate on the retail price.
To take part in the Cycle to Work scheme you will need to agree to reduce (sacrifice) an agreed amount of your salary for a set amount of time in return for a bicycle and/or selected safety equipment up to the value of €1,250 for pedal bicycles & accessories or up to €1,500 for ebikes & accessories.
In addition to the purchase of 1 bicycle the following safety equipment (only) also qualifies:
f Cycle helmets which conform to European Standard EN 1078
f Bells and bulb horns.
f Lights, including dynamo packs.
f Mirrors and mudguards.
f Cycle clips and dress guards.
f Panniers, luggage carriers and straps to allow luggage to be safely carried.
f Locks and chains to ensure the cycle can be safely secured.
f Pumps, puncture repair kits, cycle tool kits and tyre sealant to allow for minor repairs.
f Reflective clothing along with front reflectors and spoke reflectors.
You are eligible to apply for the Cycle to Work scheme once every 4 years.
Please contact payroll@cis-security.co.uk requesting some more information in regards to the scheme.

If they are then offered a position with CIS we will send them a form to state the colleague who recommended them, if they then pass their probation period, we will process the rest and pay you the colleague
