Dear MuMu, tell me about China. I would like to know about a city in China.

Dear LilyAnn, we have a lot of cities in China. One city is called Nanjing. Nanjing is located in the Jiangsu province in China. It is a very beautiful city.

Dear Mu Mu, we have a lot of cities too! One city is called New York City. New York City is located in New York State in the United States of America. New York City is a very crowded city.

Dear LilyAnn, in Nanjing there are many places to visit. In Nanjing you could visit the Confucius Temple. The Confucius Temple was named after a man named Confucius.

Confucius was a great teacher. Confucius taught others to be kind and nice to each other. When people visit the Confucius Temple, many of them write letters in red envelopes to hang in honor of him.

Dear Mu Mu, In New York City there are many places to visit too! You could visit the Statue of Liberty. The Statue of Liberty is the United States’ symbol of freedom and liberty. Lady Liberty has seven points on her crown and they symbolize the seven seas and seven continents of the world.

Dear LilyAnn, In Nanjing there are fun things that you can do. One thing you could do is ride a rickshaw. A rickshaw is a type of buggy someone pulls. When you ride a rickshaw, there are only two wheels and you might ride through the town. Riding a rickshaw is fun!

Dear Mu Mu, there are fun things to do in New York City too. You could ride a horse drawn carriage. A horse drawn carriage is a carriage that has four wheels and is pulled by a horse and steered by a person. The horse drawn carriage can take you through Central Park. Riding a horse drawn carriage is fun, but bumpy.

Dear LilyAnn, if you visit Nanjing you might eat a lot of meat. We eat different kinds of meat that you might not be used to eating. But eating these meats are common in China. We eat a lot of fried meat and vegetables, some of which are made to look very fancy. Since Nanjing is close to the ocean, we eat a lot of seafood too.

Dear Mu Mu, if you visit New York City you might eat a lot of pizza. Pizza is my favorite! You might also eat hotdogs, corndogs, cheeseburgers, and sub sandwiches.

Dear LilyAnn, if you visit Nanjing you might go to the museum in honor of a tragedy that happened in Nanjing. Before World War II, Japan invaded Nanjing. Many people were scared and worried and many ran and fled. Many people died; it was very sad.

The city was destroyed, but the people of China are strong and they rebuilt Nanjing.

Dear Mu Mu, if you visit New York, you might go to the museum in honor of a tragedy that happened in New York on September 11, 2001. The twin towers were hit by planes and many ran for their lives and many still died. But the people of the United States are strong and we rebuilt too.

I hope I can visit Nanjing one day Mu Mu, and I hope you can visit New York too!
