NON-PROFIT SPOTLIGHT: Small Biz Cares

I am Nevin Bansal, Executive Director for Small Biz Cares.

Our mission is to connect, mobilize and inspire small businesses to make a lasting positive impact in our community. Since our founding in 2018, we've engaged hundreds of businesses and individuals in our programs, raising tens of thousands of dollars in funds and goods for local nonprofits and contributing thousands of volunteer hours. It is our belief that businesses of all sizes can and should be a force for good. We provide an easy way for solopreneurs, small businesses and more to give back, build new relationships and have fun.

Small Biz Cares is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization created with the mission to connect, mobilize, and inspire small businesses to create lasting positive impact in our community. Small Biz Cares was founded by local small business leaders committed to creating a unique organization that is philanthropic and driven by small businesses.

It is our belief that small businesses are the lifeblood of the economy and the community. Through Small Biz Cares, members have a unique opportunity to join like-minded businesses to raise money for great causes, participate in large-scale volunteer efforts and improve the educational opportunities for youth in our community.

We are always looking for people to join us in our events. We hold, typically 1-2 events per month that engage folks for volunteering, fundraising or fun. Individuals and businesses can become a Small Biz Cares donor for as little as $250/year and can also get involved as an Ambassador or Board Member. Ultimately, anyone who wants to get more involved in the community can connect with us!
