NON-PROFIT SPOTLIGHT: Kiwanis Club of Westerville

My name is James C. Minter. I am a member of Kiwanis Club of Westerville and ODKF President 2022-2023.

Kiwanis International was established in 1915 and the Kiwanis Club Of Westerville was chartered in 1961.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.

What drives my passion for Kiwanis is the opportunity to work with young people and community leaders on service projects that have an impact on the learning and livelihood of the communities in which we serve.

We started our Academic Varsity program over 60 years ago and continue to recognize the top 10 academic achievers within all three Westerville High Schools every April.

We work with our Service Leadership Programs with elementary, middle school, high school, and college students to support a book bonanza project, UNICEF, and numerous food pantry service projects with Westerville Area Resource Ministries and Lifeline Christian Missions.

A Cereal Box Food Drive with all three Westerville High Schools and the Kiwanis Club Of Westerville is coming up soon. We are always looking for servant- minded individuals wanting to join and serve as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Westerville.
