

UNIFORM & PERSONAL PRESENTATION

3. UNIFORMS
The majority of CHRG personnel are required to wear a uniform whilst on duty. Uniforms will be supplied to those employees and will:
• Comply with Work Health and Safety standards.
• Be supplied in good and clean condition in the appropriate size.
• Be supplied in the appropriate quantity for the number of shifts undertaken.
Where uniforms are supplied:
• Uniforms must be always worn whilst on duty.
• Uniforms must be kept in good condition and repair, not faded, stained, or needing attention.
• Uniforms must not be worn for any other employment or private purpose.
• Uniforms must not be worn when attending any venue as a member, guest, or visitor. If you are attending a venue before or after completion of a shift, you must change into personal attire.
• Eating in uniform is allowed during designated breaks in dedicated staff rooms room only.
• The consumption of alcohol is not permitted whilst in uniform at any time.
• Team members are not allowed to chew gum whilst on duty in uniform as this will present an unacceptable impression to our patrons.
• Smoking/vaping in uniform is only permitted in the designated smoking areas outlined in the Smoke Free Workplace Policy, and your shirt must still be covered with a jacket, so no logo is visible.
• Employees are not permitted to commence their shift without the complete correct uniform.
3.1.Uniform Allocation
All uniform allocations will be recorded on the Uniform Allocation Tracking List. Additional items can be purchased at cost price. The purchase of items is non-refundable.
The following uniforms will be issued upon commencement*:
*Issuing of uniforms will be dependent on role undertaken and predicted number of shifts.

*** Navy blue ¾ or full leggings optional, not provided.
^ Eligible employees will be reimbursed for safety boots, up to the value of $150.00 per 12-month period. A valid proof of purchase required.

3.2.Uniform Care
Team members are responsible for the care and maintenance of their uniform. Team members are to follow the care instructions to maintain the appropriate appearance of their uniform.
3.3.Replacement And Lost Uniforms
Items requiring replacement due to general wear and tear will be provided at CHRG’s expense, subject to approval of the relevant leader.
In deciding on the appropriateness of allocation of replacement items, the leader will consider, amongst other things, the need for the replacement of the item and whether any act or omission of the team member has led to the need for the replacement of the item.
All replacements will be provided on a one-for-one basis. Worn items must be returned for new items to be issued.
Lost items will be replaced at the employee’s cost.
3.4.Uniform Return
All uniform items issued by CHRG must be returned fully laundered within 7 days of the last day of employment.
Failure to return clothing will result in an invoice for the items being raised.
3.5.Non-Uniform Personnel
CHRG shared service personnel (Facilities Management, Corporate Affairs, Finance and Admin, People & Culture, CEO Office) or team members working in a groupwide capacity, who are working in office roles are required to wear a corporate uniform. Such team members may, with their leader’s approval, be permitted to wear equivalent corporate attire. Such items will be at their own expense.
4. FOOTWEAR
For safety, all team members are required to wear footwear appropriate to their department. Footwear must be clean, polished and in good repair.
• Hospitality – Black, flat, enclosed, leather shoes (no joggers) with nonslip soles (black socks/stockings).
• Sport and Fitness – Enclosed, laced sports shoes.
• Maintenance and Cellar – Safety boots.
• Administration – Enclosed shoes with non-slip soles.
5. SWIMWEAR
For Aquatics team members, team members are required to wear swimwear that meets the following guidelines:
• Shall be modest, in good taste and must not be transparent.
• Swim briefs must be ‘full’ briefs.

6. NAME BADGES
If issued a name badge, you are required to wear it at all times, when on duty. Badges must be worn horizontally on the left-hand side of the shirt/blouse/jumper/vest and where applicable, just below our logo.
7. BREACH OF THIS POLICY
Breaches of this policy may result in counselling and or disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal.
8. REVIEW OF THIS POLICY
This policy will be reviewed every two years to ensure it remains consistent with all relevant legislative requirements, as well as the changing nature of the company or more frequently where legislative requirements are changed or amended.
9. POLICY COMMUNICATION AND EDUCATION
This policy will be stored on CHRG’s intranet site. It will be incorporated into induction/onboarding programs and CHRG will conduct education sessions on the application and operation of this policy as required and when any changes to the policy are implemented.
