CHRG Gift Card Terms & Conditions – 01/2025
1. These terms and conditions apply to use of the CHRG Gift Card product as issued through any CHRG Participating Venue. As a condition of use on this product, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time by the Group.
2. The following definitions will apply throughout these Terms and Conditions:
a. Card Balance refers to any unspent value on a CHRG Gift Card.
b. Voucher Number refers to:
i. The unique 10-digit number that appears on the top right of the physical card, on the reverse side.
ii. The unique 10-digit number that appears under the barcode of the electronically issued CHRG Gift Card.
c. CHRG: Refers to Castle Hill RSL Group (trading as Castle Hill RSL Club Ltd.), and includes Castle Hill RSL, Club Parramatta, Lynwood Golf and Country Club, Castle Hill Fitness & Aquatic Centre, Castle Hill Bowling Club and any other registered clubs or entities under the banner of CHRG.
d. Group: Refers to Castle Hill RSL Group (CHRG), registered at 77 Castle Street, Castle Hill NSW 2154, including all associated entities, venues, and facilities owned and operated by CHRG.
e. Expiry Date: The date marking the expiry of a CHRG Gift Card.
i. A purchased CHRG Gift Card will expire Three (3) Years from the date that the CHRG Gift Card was issued.
ii. A CHRG Gift Card that is gifted or supplied by CHRG at no cost to the recipient will expire One (1) Year from the date that the CHRG Gift Card was issued.
f. Issue Date: The date marking the issue date of a CHRG Gift Card.
i. On a Physical CHRG Gift Card, the issue date can be found on the reverse side of the CHRG Gift Card.
ii. On an Electronically issued CHRG Gift Card, the Issue date is identified as the Purchase Date found on the electronically issued CHRG Gift Card.
g. Participating Venue: Refers to any of the following Castle Hill RSL Group (CHRG) venues:
i. Castle Hill RSL Club – 77 Castle Street, Castle Hill, NSW 2154
ii. Castle Hill Fitness & Aquatic Centre – 77 Castle Street, Castle Hill, NSW 2154
iii. Club Parramatta – 2 Macquarie Street, Parramatta, NSW 2150
iv. Lynwood Golf & Country Club – 4 Pitt Town Bottoms Road, Pitt Town, NSW 2756
v. Castle Hill Bowling Club – 79 Castle Street, Castle Hill, NSW 2154
h. Point of Sale refers to any physical Point of Sale (POS) terminals operated by CHRG venues. This includes any front counter, bar, café, or restaurant register where transactions are processed in person by CHRG staff. Gift Cards cannot be
used for online purchases, bookings, third-party services, or gaming-related transactions.
i. Redeem refers to the process of reducing the value loaded onto the CHRG Gift Card by using the CHRG Gift Card to purchase goods or services at a Participating Venue Point of Sale.
j. $ or dollar: References Australian monetary currency.
Purchasing a CHRG Gift Card
3. Physical CHRG Gift Cards can be purchased from the reception desk at:
i. Castle Hill RSL Club – 77 Castle Street, Castle Hill, NSW 2154
ii. Club Parramatta – 2 Macquarie Street, Parramatta, NSW 2150
iii. Lynwood Golf & Country Club – 4 Pitt Town Bottoms Road, Pitt Town, NSW 2756
iv. Castle Hill Bowling Club – 79 Castle Street, Castle Hill, NSW 2154
b. Electronically issued CHRG Gift Cards can be purchased online at the website for the following participating venues.
i. Castle Hill RSL Club
ii. Club Parramatta
iii. Lynwood Golf & Country Club
iv. Castle Hill Bowling Club
c. When purchasing a physical CHRG Gift Card, payment can be made via cash, EFTPOS, Credit Card or CHRG Bonus Points.
d. When purchasing an electronically issued CHRG Gift Card, payment can be made via Credit Card.
e. A CHRG Physical Gift Card or an electronically issued CHRG Gift Card can be loaded with a minimum value of $10 and a maximum of $1,000.
Redeeming a CHRG Gift Card
4. A CHRG Gift Card can be redeemed in any Participating Venue for any goods or services that can be purchased through a CHRG Point of Sale. This includes any front counter, bar, café, or restaurant register where transactions are processed in person by CHRG staff. Gift Cards cannot be used for online purchases, bookings, third-party services, or gamingrelated transactions.
5. A CHRG Gift Card cannot be used for the purchase of a CHRG Gift Card.
6. A CHRG Gift Card cannot be refunded or used to obtain cash. You cannot use a CHRG Gift Card to make a Credit Card payment or any other form of transaction payment.
7. The resale of CHRG Gift Cards is strictly prohibited, except with the prior written consent of an authorised representative of CHRG.
8. Any remaining balance on a CHRG Gift Card after a partial redemption will not be issued in cash or any other form of payment type.
Lost of Stolen CHRG Gift Cards
9. You must treat your CHRG Gift Cards like cash. If your CHRG gift Card is lost, stolen or damaged, please contact a CHRG Participating Venue.
10. CHRG reserves the right to place a stop on your CHRG Gift Card if
a. It is reported lost, stolen or damaged.
b. We believe that there is an error with your CHRG Gift Card.
General Terms and Conditions
11. In the event of technical failure (including but not limited to the Point of Sale or a Payment Gateway) CHRG management reserves the right to temporarily suspend the purchase or redemption of a CHRG Gift Card in a Participating Venue.
12. CHRG reserves the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time.
