Kayla Simone Ferguson (Player 1)

Kayla Simone Ferguson is excited to be a part of the RTC (Resident Touring Company) for the first time. Previous CTC credits include: Grace in THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL, Marcenia in CATCHING THE MOON: THE STORY OF A YOUNG GIRL’S BASEBALL DREAM, and Allie in ALLIE KAZAN AND THE MAGIC MANSION. This is a tour to remember!

THE CAST

Rollins Mosley (Player 2)

Rollins Mosley is a performer and recent graduate of Winthrop University’s Theatre program. He most recently performed professionally as a Featured Singer in TEXAS OUTDOOR MUSICAL and as Puck in A MIDSUMMER’S NIGHT DREAM at the Pioneer Amphitheater in the Palo Duro Canyon. Rollins made his Off-Broadway Debut as a swing in SCOUTS last year at The Players Theatre and has performed professionally at the Carowinds Amusement Park. He has also been in productions at Winthrop University including RENT (Roger), PIPPIN (Lewis, Pippin u/s), and SPRING AWAKENING (Melchior). Rollins would like to thank his parents for supporting him and his friends for always encouraging him. Finally, he is grateful to be a part of Children’s Theatre of Charlotte and is looking forward to his time in the Touring company.

Jamaas Britton (Player 3)

(He/Him/His) is excited to be a part Children’s Theatre of Charlotte’s production of THE TRUE STORY OF THE 3 LITTLE PIGS! as a Resident Touring Actor. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from Limestone College and Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. Recently graduated, Jamaas is in the beginning stage of his career but has been blessed to have done a multitude of commercial work, short films, and musicals for projects in the Carolinas. This includes Franz (ROCK OF AGES) at Actors Theatre of Charlotte, Rocky (ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW) at Actors Theatre of Charlotte, TJ (SISTER ACT) at Matthew’s Playhouse, Ben (NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD), and Telly (GODSPELL) in the Musical Theatre showcase the University of North Carolina Greensboro. He is very excited to expand his horizons and hopes to continue to hone his craft as a theatre practitioner! He is working towards helping others experience what makes theater magical and thanks God, his family, and friends for all their support so far.

Anna Goldstein (Player 4)

Anna graduated from Winthrop University in 2021 with a BA in Theatre Performance and a Minor in K-12 Education. Since graduating, she has enjoyed a variety of performance opportunities at Carowinds, Sigmon Theatrical, Disneyland, and Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. She has spent several seasons teaching drama, dance, and music to young students at both the Levine Jewish Community Center and Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. As a strong advocate for affordable, accessible theatre she is elated to be returning to the resident touring company of CTC for her second season.

Meet the Director

Christopher Parks (Director) is a director, playwright, and board game designer. He is the Producing Artistic Director of the Experiential Theater Company, an international touring company dedicated to creating immersive theater productions for young audiences and their families. He was also the founding Co-Director/Owner of the New Jersey Kingdom of Somerset (1989-1998).

As a playwright, he has written plays, musicals, and interactive immersion experiences for family audiences. Past playwriting commissions include The Odyssey Experience, The Arabian Nights and The Adventures of Perseus (McCarter Theatre Center); Aesop’s Fables, Healthily Ever After (Young Audiences NJEPA); The Spirit of Poe, Journey to Oz (Florida Repertory Theatre); Sunjata Kamalenya (John F. Kennedy Center for the Arts/McCarter Theatre), GRIMMZ Fairy Tales, The Invisible Boy, Step into the Looking Glass, Topsy Turvy Cinderella (Children’s Theatre of Charlotte); Eréndira: Una Cenicienta Mexicana (Tricycle Theater for Youth); Ms. Vivi’s Class: Together (Cleveland Playhouse); Playing at Peter Pan (Hangar Theater); A Puppet Christmas Carol (Long Island Children’s Museum) and The Sleepy Hollow Adventure (Sigmon Theatrical). Christopher is also currently the lead designer for the Make-A-Play series of board games. www.exptheater.org
