Visitor Control Center
1. All Cheyney University staff members and guests are expected to abide by Cheyney University policies and procedures.
2. Requirements for Campus Entry: Personal Identification: Cheyney University ID, Cheyney University Parking Sticker, personnel age 18 and older, requesting access to Cheyney University, must show a valid form of government (local, state or federal) issued photo identification.

3. The Cheyney University Visitor Control Center (CUVC) controls entry to Cheyney University Campus by (a) Each person (student, staff, parent, contractor or guest) entering should use his or her Cheyney University ID, (b) a valid form of government (local, state or federal) issued photo identification.
4. Each person (student, staff, parent, contractor or guest) entering Cheyney University Campus are required to submit to Temperature (100.4 or below) taking to determine the basis of access control decisions for individuals requesting and/ or requiring access to the Cheyney University Campus, and issuance of access/ visitor credentials.
5. Effective July 31, 2020 CUVC hours will transition to 12:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Sunday.
6. Visitors must be invited by an authorized Cheyney University Staff, Faculty or Department Head, Operations Department or U.S. Facilities individual.
7. Visitor’s Pass Requests should be sent to the Mark Corbin at mcorbin@ cheyney.edu before the pass can be issued and name added to daily guest list.
8. Visitor’s will be issued a Color of the Day wristband to notify all CU staff that visitors are on campus with permission and they are in the appropriate areas.
9. Walkers: All walkers entering Cheyney University are free to proceed through campus. However, when entering public spaces must have their temperature checked, wear a mask and must provide proper identification and must be wearing light colored clothing and either reflective vest or belt at night.
10. Bicycle: All bicyclists entering Cheyney University are free to proceed through campus. However, when entering public spaces must have their temperature checked, wear a mask and must provide proper identification and must be wearing light colored clothing and either reflective vest or belt at night.
11. Ubers/Lyft, Taxis, food delivery driver or tow truck driver will be allowed to pick up and drop off individuals on and off at the front gate designated area only.
12. After-hours access for students is at the discretion of the appropriate building contact who is also responsible for notifying Public Safety and Operations Management of such decisions.
13. As a general practice Public Safety will not provide after-hours access.
14. Vehicle Entry Requirements: a. Privately owned vehicles do require on-campus registration however, vehicle operators must b. Police, or PASSHE Vehicles
15. Personnel operating police vehicle or vehicles with government plates are subject to the same identification requirements as personnel operating privately owned vehicles
