The Burbidge's home is close to completion Happy New Year! It is hard to believe February is right around the corner. Pandemic or not, time does not stand still. Since the beginning of July, Charlotte County Habitat has completed and closed 13 homes. Currently, we have 28 families working through our homeownership program..... The need for affordable housing is greater than ever before. We receive, on average, 90 - 100 inquiries a month from families who are desperately in need of finding an affordable housing solution. We are working diligently to help as many families as possible during these very challenging times. February is the final month of our Annual Home Build Campaign and we are happy to report that Derek, Jessica and their children will be moving into their new Habitat home soon. They have worked hard to complete all the necessary requirements to become Habitat homeowners. We are truly thankful for everyone that has made a a contribution to the Annual Home Build Campaign. We set a lofty goal of $200,000. To date, including matching dollars, we have raised $75,000.
