It’s hard to believe we have entered a new year! The holiday season seems so long ago. During 2019 thirty-two families experienced the magic of Christmas in their new Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity homes. Parents and children woke up Christmas morning in a home they call their own; a place where children can play and be safe, a place where lasting memories will be created. There is nothing like being home for the holidays. In 2020 we are diligently working to build an additional 35 homes for deserving families. The need for affordable housing is still prevalent in our community. Currently, we have 22 families working in our homeownership program. Mother Teresa said, “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.” Are you willing to cast your stone and help make the dream of homeownership a reality?
