The family and friends of Joyce Taft Kimbrell wish for the Charleston Day School community to know that Joyce passed away peacefully on May 29, 2021. Joyce loved her time at Charleston Day School and cherished the memories made here.
Jacob P. Dustan recently accepted a position as Senior Cybersecurity Consultant with EY after spending four years at BB&T, now Truist, building two cybersecurity programs for the bank amidst the largest Caroline Hagood and Wells Patrick financial services merger since the Wells-Wachovia acquisition.
Class of 2002 Sisters, Frances deSaussure Murray (’02) and Ann deSaussure Biondi (’04), each welcomed daughters Margaret Huger Murray and within six Willa James Biondi weeks of each other. Margaret Huger Murray was born on April 30, 2021 and Willa James Biondi was born on June 16, 2021. Frances, her husband, Billy, daughters, Annie (2) and Margaret, just moved back to Charleston while Ann, her husband, Jamie, and Willa live in Alexandria, VA, at Episcopal High School. Congratulations!
Class of 2004 Susannah Nelson Darby and her husband, JC, welcomed their son, Nelson Homer Darby, on June 2, 2021. Nelson joins big brother, Charlie.

Caroline Hagood married Wells Patrick on April 24, 2021 in Rockville, SC. Many CDS Scorpion alumni were in attendance. Congratulations to the Hagood family! Hattie Johnson married Harrison Hughes on October 3, 2020 at Combahee Plantation.

Cole Shubert was an Honors Johnson-Hughes wedding at Combahee Plantation College/Carolina Top Scholar at University of South Carolina where Class of 2013 he studied mechanical engineering. He is a test engineer for SpaceX in Carter Shubert Texas. Scan this QR code graduated summa to read the article the cum laude from Honors College wrote on the University of him this summer. Many thanks to Mrs. South Carolina in Finch for all that math training! May, 2021. He was a double major in International Business and The Darby Family Supply Chain/ Operations with a Class of 2006 minor in Spanish. He has relocated to Callan Joan Charlotte, NC after Hagood was Carter Shubert taking a position born on January with Red Ventures, 31, 2021 to the largest digital media firm in the country.
