Chapelhill Church Family,

I am amazed at how God has blessed Chapelhill Church with so many people overflowing with gifts, talents, and generosity! Cindy and I are so grateful. You have been faithful and faith-filled, and this is why we are so excited about what this means for the coming year!

After a miraculous year surpassing $2 million given to Kingdom Builders for the first time, we must now lean into the intensity of Matthew 7, asking, seeking and knocking - believing in faith for all that God can and will do! There is no substitute for the presence of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit in our lives, so let’s believe God and ask Him for an increase of His blessing on our gifts and generosity in 2023 to advance His Kingdom around the world.

Proverbs tells us that the world of the generous grows larger and larger. Kingdom Builders is committed to extravagant generosity, above-and-beyond the tithe, supporting Global Missions, Local Ministry Expansion, and Next Generation Leaders through a wide variety of high-quality missionary partners and organizations, especially in the most difficult places to bring the gospel. This book provides a glimpse of our vision to impact the world for Christ.

If you’re not yet part of Kingdom Builders, we want to invite you on the adventure! Last year, hundreds of people gave to Kingdom Builders for the first time. I hope you will join us and step out in faith in 2023. Whether large or small, every gift matters because every person matters to God! We want everyone to be a part of this movement of world-changing generosity! As I’ve said many times, may we all live with an open heart and open hand.

Ephesians 3:20-21 sums up our heart and expectation for this year…

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.

plan vision dream

By God’s abundant grace and blessings, and through the sacrifice of many, we are able to support many missionaries, partners, and projects working to expand the Kingdom of God throughout our communities, our country, and the rest of the world.

As we are believing God to enable us to give over $2 million in 2023, it will require a generous sacrifice from all of us. Some will give sacrificially and others will give from great abundance. If this year is your first time giving, or if you’re looking to grow to a new level in giving, here are some ways to step out in generosity.

First, make a plan to give. When you have plans, and are diligent, it leads to plenty (Proverbs 21:5). Having a plan leads to plenty! Whatever the amount is – have the plan in place, work the plan and be obedient to it. Start there.

Next, ask God to give you a vision of what He could do through you with His help. This is beyond what you can do with your natural income. It will require you to take a step of faith. Additionally, Habakkuk 2:2 tells us to write that vision down and pray about it! God will supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Stepping out in faith pleases God. When you look at what He has in His hands, it goes to another level!

Lastly, what would be a dream amount for you? Hold on to it. This number is only between you and God. Watch God move you closer and closer to that dream as you step out in faith. God can do exceedingly abundantly more than all we can ask for or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

While there will be hundreds of people giving as Kingdom Builders in 2023, always remember that every gift matters to God. It’s not the size of the gift, but the obedience to God’s voice that matters most. Now more than ever, make a plan to give, ask God for a vision of your generosity, and hold on to the dream of what God will do as you step out in faith!

TRANSLATING The Word of God

Beginning in the 1980’s, the Full Life Study Bible was the missionary project and vision of late missionary Donald Stamps. While serving in Brazil, Don recognized a great need in the church for a study Bible written from a Pentecostal perspective. He began creating a series of notes that would accompany Scripture throughout the entire Bible. Though struggling with cancer, he continued to work and write believing this Bible would be completed. In 1991, shortly after finishing his notes and submitting them for publishing, Don Stamps went to be with the Lord.

In 1996, the Assemblies of God World Missions leaders saw the potential for this Bible to be used around the world and assigned the project to Life Publishers. At that time, the FireBible was born and has now been translated into over 50 languages, with over 10 million in print worldwide, while other language editions are continually being published.

The FireBible is a full-featured study Bible with an emphasis on the person and work of the Holy Spirit. It is now available in 63 languages, and it is the world’s #1 Pentecostal Study Bible. The scholarship of the FireBible’s study material, edited and reviewed by a panel of pastors and renowned Bible scholars, is unsurpassed for a serious study of the Scriptures. It also offers the reader a practical understanding and application of Scripture that leads to a solid foundation in God’s Word, a deeper relationship with Christ, and an awareness of the Holy Spirit’s activity.

Chapelhill Church’s Kingdom Builder giving has helped with the funding of FireBible translation for many years. Additional translations will result in many changed lives and Kingdom disciples worldwide as people receive God’s word and study notes in their own heart language.

The Blake house

Chad entered the program after struggling with addiction for years. He lost his home, his family, and with nowhere else to go, Chad turned to The Blake House. During the time he spent in the program, he encountered the peace of God in a way he never experienced before.

“For the first time, I could breathe. As I stood there and took it all in, I could see a glimpse of the peace that would come from the program. It’s the peace that I have still to this day.”

Chad is just one of the many testimonies about the impact of The Blake House.

As an extension of No Longer Bound, The Blake House serves as a 10-month in-patient recovery

residence for men battling drug and alcohol addiction in the West Georgia community. The mission is to see men regenerated physically, mentally, and spiritually – all through the work of Jesus Christ.

Through the generosity of Kingdom Builders and other partners, the program had enough funds to award scholarships to 50% of intakes! More and more men are coming to understand who they are in Jesus, because of YOUR generosity!

YouthChapelhill ScholarshipsGoTrip

In recent years, Chapelhill Church has hosted GoTrips for High School students. Each trip is designed for students to love people as God loves them. In the summer of 2022, there was an opportunity for Chapelhill Youth to participate in a mission outreach in Cleveland, Ohio, and Lucas McRae jumped at the chance to go.

Along with his peers, Lucas spent a week working with kids in local, less-fortunate neighborhoods. They hosted block parties for the kids, prayed with families, and shared the love of Jesus with all they encountered.

However, it wasn’t just the people of Ohio who experienced Jesus in a new way.

“During that entire week, we were praying, and I felt really connected to God. Super connected. It was then that I received God’s calling, and I just suddenly remembered Youth Alive.”

Youth Alive is a student-led Bible club held within high schools that promotes student leadership and discipleship. Ultimately, it’s students reaching students.

“I thought a lot about Youth Alive, and I asked myself, ‘Is this really what God wants me to do?’ I pushed through because I knew it was going to be good for His name. More people were going to hear about Him in my school! Since beginning this journey, I’ve been able to hear all the different perspectives about God, not from the club, but from people in school hearing about us.”

Because of Kingdom Builders, students like Lucas discover their calling in places they never expected. GoTrips provide the opportunity to explore what God created them to do and determine how to do it.

Lucas offers a word of encouragement: “If you’re wrestling with what God is calling you to do, be obedient and follow through, because God will always follow through for you – no matter what.”

LIGHT for the LOST

Several years ago, a man named Daniel was called by God to Muslim ministry while he was fighting Islamic insurgents in his country’s southern islands in the Pacific. He was using gospel tracts as an evangelism tool that he had received from Assemblies of God missionaries and Light for the Lost.

Because of his evangelism, he was hunted down and shot in the chest twice with a Colt 45. Miraculously, Daniel survived!

After recovering, he continued winning Muslims for Christ. Today, dozens of former Muslims worship in churches Daniel started. These former Muslims pray differently now saying, “There is only one God, and we worship Jesus Christ, His Son.”

1.8 billion Muslims are lost and destined for eternity without Christ. Most of them because they have not yet been reached. Kingdom Builder giving is changing that.

BIBLE ENGAGEMENT PROJECT

Existing to see every person, every home, every small group, and every local church transformed by regularly engaging with the Bible.

BUILDERS INTERNATIONAL

Helping to expand Continental Theological Seminary in Brussels, Belgium to equip the next generation of Spirit-empowered church leaders and move the Pentecostal mission forward in the face of secular philosophies, societal brokenness, and human suffering that have overtaken Europe.

BUSINESS AS MISSION

Utilizing untapped business resources for missional impact through collaboration with individuals, churches, businesses, organizations, and networks for the purpose of affirming the missional role of business globally.

CHRISTIANS UNITED FOR ISRAEL

Dedicated to standing with Israel and the Jewish people with over 10 million members as the largest pro-Israel organization in America through the educating and empowerment of pro-Israel Christians.

CHURCH MULTIPLICATION NETWORK

Offering training, resources, and relationships needed to develop leaders and multiply the church in local communities.

CONVOY OF HOPE

Through partnerships with local churches, businesses, and government agencies, Convoy assists communities around the world with feeding initiatives, community outreach, and disaster relief.

FIREBIBLE

With hundreds of translated languages available, the FireBible is a fully featured study Bible emphasizing the person and the work of the Holy Spirit through practical application and understanding of Scripture.

FRONTLINE MISSIONS

HAITI – SOLID ROCK CHURCH

Led by Pastor Gerard Forges, Solid Rock Church in Haiti supports orphans and the needy through medical care, food, education, and the teaching of the Gospel.

LIGHT FOR THE LOST

Providing evangelism resources through audio, print, technology, and media across the globe in order to reach people, regardless of their language, culture, or location.

ONE CHILD MATTERS

A sponsorship program that serves children facing poverty and providing for their basic needs and Christian education. Every sponsorship is also an opportunity for that child to achieve their God-given calling!

PASTORAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Partnering with missionary Michael Clark to help fund this 2-year pastoral internship program in Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland. This internship prepares bible school graduates for church planting through practical experience, mentoring, and spiritual development.

PRIORITY ONE

Educating and equipping pastors all over the world through the building of Bible colleges, schools, dormitories, and leadership development centers.

PROJECT RESCUE

Project Rescue exists to rescue and restore victims of sex trafficking through the love and power of Jesus Christ around the world.

THE STONE TABLE

An organization that leverages business to create sustainable revenue for global missions projects. We have the exciting opportunity to partner once again with The StoneTable for a Christmas Offering project in November and December 2023. The Stone Table matches every dollar Chapelhill gives to expand Kingdom work.

ATLANTA MOBILE FOOD PANTRY

Supplying and providing food and basic needs to the city of Atlanta, while demonstrating the love of Christ to everyone. This ministry is operated through the Chapelhill Atlanta location.

BLAKE HOUSE

Serving men who battle addiction in the West GA community through a 10-month program allowing Christ to regenerate them.

BREMEN FOOD AND CLOTHING BANK

Helping the families in the West GA area by providing them with access to food, clothing, personal care, and household items.

CHAPELHILL LIVE STREAMING PROJECT

Developing the production infrastructure needed for all aspects of live streaming at our Family of Churches. Our desire is to blanket the metro area and beyond with ministry from all our Chapelhill Churches.

COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN COUNCIL

Displaying the love of Jesus to the citizens in Haralson County by supplying goods and services for their spiritual, physical, and financial needs.

CROSS-CULTURAL MINISTRIES

Providing educational and discipleship programs to disadvantaged children, youth, and adults in community-based centers of DeKalb County.

DEEPER CHURCH

Partnering with Rohan and Suzan Thompson as they plant a brand-new church in Dallas, GA with a vision of seeing people repositioned to go deeper with Christ.

FAITH IN ACTION

Proclaiming the love of Jesus by delivering donated household furniture, appliances, and clothing to those in the community.

FRONTLINE RESPONSE

Serving locally in Atlanta by rescuing men and women out of homelessness and sex trafficking, while preventing the most vulnerable in society from becoming victims.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS

Providing Christmas gifts to children in need within Douglas County and offering hope to families through Jesus Christ.

PRC MEDICAL

Dedicated to empowering women to make informed and thoughtful decisions when faced with unplanned pregnancies while also sharing the truth of Jesus.

SAFEHOUSE OUTREACH

Offering the hope of restoration in people’s lives through faith, love, and compassionate service to encourage the journey of self-sufficiency.

THE CAREPLACE

Meeting medical service needs, health education, and select social services for those who do not have private health insurance and displaying the love of Jesus in the process.

THE PANTRY

Serving the local community through food ministry while offering the hope of Christ to all who visit.

Teaching Chapelhill Kids how to give sacrificially through the education of missions awareness, concern, and stewardship.

Offering scholarships for students in Chapelhill Youth to experience a GoTrip with our partners and practice evangelism, outreach, and ministry in unique cultural settings.

Partnering with Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL, SEU at Chapelhill offers an accredited education and hands-on experience that develops future leaders. Scholarships are awarded to students in need of financial assistance at the Chapelhill regional campus.

SPEED THE LIGHT

Teaching Chapelhill Youth how to give sacrificially for missionary projects and organizations around the world, including essential resources, transportation, and creative communication equipment.

CHAPELHILL Family of Churches LIVE STREAMING Project

Our 2023 project goal is to develop the production infrastructure needed for all aspects of live streaming at our Family of Churches. This includes cameras, lighting, computer systems, and the hard costs associated with quality live streaming. Live streaming gives us an opportunity to multiply our outreach and

impact from each of our local churches as we preach the gospel and lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. In Douglasville alone, thousands of people each month tune into the weekly broadcast. Our desire is to blanket the metro area and beyond with ministry from all our Chapelhill Churches.

We desire to direct sufficient resources to all our locations to Next Gen staff hires and facilities that are dedicated to reaching and serving Gen Z and Gen Alpha.

Our Dream of a NEW Chapelhill Location

Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will continue to expand our reach in the Atlanta Metro area to launch location #5 as God provides.

Our Dream of Being Debt Free

We’ve valued the responsibility of stewardship with everything that God has entrusted us with. We want to reduce our debt further and faster, continually growing in financial strength. Our dream is to one day be completely debt free so that we can invest more money in ministry, missions, and the next generation for God’s glory.
