Notables Dr. Lynn Babington | PRESIDENT Dr. Babington was interviewed by KHON2 regarding Chaminade University’s $5,000 graduate and online undergraduate scholarships in celebration of 200 years of Marianist Education. The scholarships were available to new, incoming students looking to pursue a master’s degree or online bachelor’s degree. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Babington was interviewed by Pacific Business News, Hawaii Public Radio, KHON2 News, KITV News and Hawaii News Now regarding Chaminade University’s response to the pandemic and looking forward to the next academic year.

Dr. Lance Askildson was interviewed by Pacific Business News regarding Chaminade’s Master of Business Administration program and its six tracks. Askildson assumed his role as provost and vice president for academic affairs in June 2019.

Dr. Carter co-authored the textbook, “Forensic Microbiology” on the emerging (and groundbreaking) role of microbes in forensic science in 2017. An Arabic version of the textbook is slated to be published in December 2021.
Dr. Eurina Cha | ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF NURSING
Dr. Eurina Cha was the recipient of the 2019 Bright Society Award from the Global Cooperative Society International-Hawai'i chapter. Cha, a certified advanced public health nurse, has more than 25 years of experience in nursing and is the lead faculty member for an annual event on Hawai'i Island that provides health screenings and education in a culturally sensitive way.
