Rev. Theodore Ley celebrates the 60th anniversary of his professed vows with the Society of Mary. He is also on his third ministry as senior chaplain of Chaminade College Preparatory School and community director of West Hills Marianists.

Robert Vieira recently won an award from the Aloha 'Aina Realtor Awards Program for his contributions to the real estate industry in Hawai'i. He was one of nine realtors to receive this award. Vieira is also a member of the development committee at Chaminade University.

Fr. Raymond Malley is celebrating the 60th anniversary of his first professed vows with the Society of Mary. Fr. Malley also recently celebrated his 50th ordination anniversary.

Roy Randall “Randy” Haskin B.A. CHEMISTRY ‘69

Randy Haskin is the CEO/President and lead scientist of NanoBiologics Research Corporation, which specializes in nutrient nanotechnology of hemp. His company is set to open for international business later this year and is currently working on hand sanitizer that is more effective against COVID-19 than what is being offered on the market. Haskin recently sent samples to Chaminade for staff/faculty to use as needed.

1970s Lani Lam B.B.A. MARKETING SCIENCE ‘78

Lani Lam and her husband, Leighton, celebrate 41 years as co-founders of Leighton Lam Designs, an Oahu-based jewelry-making company. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company is offering a free gift for every item purchased on their website which includes a Liv-n-Aloha “Sharing the Joy of Life” necklace.

Samuel Jones was recently included in The National Black Lawyers’ list of Top 100 Lawyers in Illinois, a membership that is limited to the top 100 lawyers in each state who have demonstrated excellence and achieved outstanding results in their careers. Jones is currently a professor and the associate dean at the University of Illinois at Chicago John Marshall Law School. He also currently serves on the Cook County Justice Advisory Board and as a Hearing Officer for the Cook County Officers Electoral Board for the 2020 General Primary Elections.

Col. Stephen Logan B.G.S. CRIMINAL JUSTICE ‘90

Col. Stephen Logan was recently appointed by Governor David Ige as deputy adjutant general for the State of Hawaii Department of Defense. Col. Logan served in the Army National Guard and is a 22-year veteran of the Honolulu Police Department.

MASTER OF EDUCATION IN SECONDARY EDUCATION ‘85

Candy Suiso celebrates almost 30 years as program director of Searider Productions, a multimedia program at Wai'anae High School. The program teaches students about video production and graphic design, and gives students the opportunity to work on media projects throughout the state.

Judge David Tapp was recently confirmed as a judge for the U.S. Court of Federal Claims by the U.S. Senate. He will serve a 15-year term.

Susan Seah recently started the Koa Club, a social club for women passionate about lifelong learning and improving their leadership and professional skills. She is also a founding partner of law firm CounselGS, also known as Gardiner Seah LLP, and serves as a board member and chair of the leadership team of the Seattle chapter of LWT, formerly known as Leading Women in Technology.

Anne Perreira-Eustaquio

William Joseph Hill recently published his debut novel, Cyber Fighter, a comedic martial arts/sci-fi adventure, on Amazon. The book is based on a film screenplay written by Hill for his production company, Four Scorpio Productions, and is currently in development for a feature film.

Anne Perreira-Eustaquio was recently appointed by Governor David Ige as the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations’ deputy director. She brings 30 years of experience in public service, serving previously as the unemployment insurance program administrator. Perreira-Eustaquio’s husband, Eustaquio ‘88, serves on the Board of Regents at Chaminade University.

Noriko Namiki is the CEO of the YWCA 'Oahu. YWCA 'Oahu celebrated 120 years and recently held its 2020 Leader Luncheon, where the honorees were recognized for their personal dedication to the advancement of women in the community.
