Hi everyone,

Hope you all have a lovely Easter break and that we have some dry weather (they are saying Good Friday will be the best day).

Just a reminder that the clocks ‘spring’ forward on Sunday.

I hope you enjoy this edition and don’t forget to send me any content and client feedback you get.

Thanks

What have our clients been saying this month?

Also if you get any kind words and/or cards & gifts from clients then please send them to me and any pictures you can take will be great.

Thank you Sophie

A very aptly seasonal gift for Hannah at New Mills.

The information was so prompt. I’m not quite ready to put the property on the market yet but appreciate your swiftness and the way you and your Company handled my request, very impressed!

Some great feedback on our New Business and quotes for Sophie at Wilmslow.

To Michelle and Carla, a cheer, For their support, so sincere, With Greta by my side, To Rose Cottage we'll glide, Living happily, year after year.

Their kindness, a beacon so bright, Guided us through, day and night.

Now, as dreams unfold, In a cottage we'll hold, Our future together, so right.

Carol at New Mills received this lovely card

I wanted to express my thanks and gratitude to Ruth Smith.

Over the last 12 months I have been bullied by a large company who have tried to bully me concerning my company name. Ruth was absolutely fantastic with her legal assistance but also helping me to stay calm and not let them get to me personally, I would recommend Ruth to anyone she just has a very calm way about her but also very professional. Thank you Ruth for everything you did for me it was greatly appreciated. Chafes Hague Lambert must be very proud to have such a lovely and professional lady on board their Team

Michelle & Carla’s client wrote them a poem (FYI - Greta is a dog).

Sam at New Mills received these gorgeous flowers and very posh pen from her happy clients

Lovely words for Ruth (based out of Wilmslow but works from home).

Kept us up to date on any developments & very pleasant to deal with. Carol & Angela were approachable and professional –Carol & Angela at Urmston.

Keep on running

I know some of you are aware that Kate at Wilmslow is running the Manchester Marathon on Sunday 14th April.

The 26.21 mile course runs (no pun intended) right across Manchester, starting and finishing at Old Trafford. Kate is running in the Cyan wave of the marathon.

Kate has been training hard since the New Year but is no stranger to long runs, as you may remember she did the Manchester 10k last year.

Kate is running to raise money for pancreatic cancer as she lost her Grandfather Mick to the disease in 2015. She said “the survival rate for people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer is so low that half the people diagnosed die within three months. Therefore, I felt that raising money for support, research and time is extremely important. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case.

Pancreatic Cancer UK is dedicated to taking on this injustice using every possible means. They’re supporting people with pancreatic cancer now, campaigning and funding vital research to transform the future. So by running the Manchester Marathon I want to raise money to help them make the break throughs that people with pancreatic cancer so desperately need.”

Some of you may have already donated, thank you if you have and if any of you can spare any money towards her fundraising, please go to the Just Giving page for which the link is below, it would be very much appreciated.

Looking at a career in law – Thrive day

Towards the end of February, Glossopdale school in Hadfield held their year eight ‘Thrive event’. The event was attended by about 200 students where they were given talks by various company’s on ‘pathways into work’ in their relevant areas. Hannah and Carla from New Mills and Kate from Wilmslow went along to tell students about their differing entry ways into a career in law.

The team really enjoyed the afternoon, chatting with students and answering questions.

Hannah said “The careers guidance and work experience I had at school age really shaped my future, and so if I can answer any questions young aspiring solicitors have I am happy to help.”

Do you know this man?

He is being hunted by Warwickshire Police for crimes to beards and shacket wearing.

Seriously though, there’s no way he can deny it was him driving.
