Register for 10K, 5K, Fun Run and Corn Hole Tournament. The event benefits The Connor Rice Memorial Fund. Connor was a bright, fun, athletic young man who was tragically taken on September 16, 2011 at the age of 15.

Check in begins at 7:30 a.m. and the race starts at 9 a.m. The race will be followed by activities for children including crafting and moon bounces. JUNE 2017 Saturday, June 10, Centreville Head To Toe Health Fair, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Lawyers Row along Queen Anne’s County Courthouse Square. This free event at the Centreville Farmers’ Market will feature interactive activities, health screenings and information booths with regional medical, health and wellness resources. Enjoy music, food ($), corn hole, raffles and kids activities. Hosted by the Centreville Lions Club, this event is the oldest continual music festival of its kind in Maryland. $5 cover charge.

This new event is a celebration of Maryland’s makers and includes wine, spirits and beer tastings and Maryland artisans, authors, fine artists, music and food. Free entry; tasting passes are $20 per person in advance or $25 day of. The 15, 30, 65, and 100 mile routes are scenic rides on wide-shouldered and back roads along the many rolling hills of Queen Anne’s County that include sweeping views of the Corsica and Chester rivers. Proceeds of the ride will benefit the student at Wye River Upper School. The fee is: $55 to $65 in advance; $75 day of event.

AUGUST 2017 Tuesday, August 1, National Night Out, 6 to 8 p.m., Lawyers Row. This fun-filled free family event is hosted by the Centreville Police Department and features games, prizes, balloons, hot dogs and popcorn. The event is part of the National Night Out Against Crime.
