BASEBALL NUMBERS CLASS IS A HIT! STORY by Chelsea Martin
At the end of Mrs. Bush and Mr. Coop’s Baseball Numbers course, members of their class, as well as a few Central Chronicles Staff members and four Benedictine College volunteers, played a game of whiffle-ball. During the baseball game that took place on October 13, 2017, Cheyanne Bailey and Alicia Tucker got up close with the players and asked them about their experiences.

Alicia asked Gabe Ackmann: “How does it feel to be hitting against Mr. Coop?”
Alicia asked Ms. Lueckenhoff and Mrs. Bush, “How does it feel to watch the game?”
“It feels good,” Gabe said.
Mrs. Bush said, “It feels good to see our kids having fun.” Ms. Lueckenhoff added, “It was funny to see Mr. Coop fall” “It is funny and exciting,” continued Mrs. Bush.
Alicia asked Jermey Thummel: “How did it feel to hit that foul ball?” “It felt pretty good,” said Jermey.
