Welcome to Recruitment!
Hi!
I’m Jordan, and I currently serve as the President of the Panhellenic Council! We have such a wonderful Greek community here at Centenary College. We, as Greek women, want you to find an organization to call home – the place you feel the most connected to filled with people you are deeply connected to. Our Panhellenic community is united through our shared values of integrity, service, leadership, friendship, knowledge, and community. Our sisters span across all academic majors, and are involved in all aspects of campus.
Going through recruitment is one of the best decisions I have ever made, and it has greatly changed the course of my life for the better. I have met the most amazing people and have had such exciting experiences. I am so incredibly thankful for my sisters both within my chapter and the Panhellenic community as a whole. Going Greek has allowed me to grow as a student, a leader, and a person. I expect that the same will hold true for you.
I understand that you might be a little nervous, but here’s my advice: keep an open mind, enjoy the experience, and make memories that last a lifetime and friendships that will last forever.
We are so excited to meet you!
Sincerely,
Jordan Danzell Panhellenic President
Dear Potential Member,
I am Josey, and I am serving as the Vice President of Recruitment on the Panhellenic Council! At Centenary we have two phenomenal NPC organizations that are unique in history, leadership and philanthropy. I am so thrilled to meet each and everyone of you. The women in our Panhellenic community are the most amazing women I have ever met and will truly forever hold a place in my heart. These women value service and sisterhood in remarkable ways. As soon as I joined the Panhellenic community, I was welcomed with open arms and unconditional love. The Panhellenic women in our community have become my biggest supporters, my best friends, and my family.
My experiences of Panhellenic have given me leadership positions, opportunities and so many wonderful memories. Being in Greek Life has truly made such a deep impact on me and has made me grow into who I am today. A little piece of advice for recruitment: remember to stay true to you and to savor every moment of it.
Each and every one of you is so unique and embodies what our Panhellenic community stands for and we could not be more proud to welcome you home. I wish you all the best and send you so much love as you are going through the recruitment process. I can’t wait to see all the great things and impact you make in our Panhellenic community.
See you soon!

Chi Omega
Dear Potential Members,
My name is Gracie Napier and I am the President of Chi Omega! It is my honor and joy to extend a warm welcome to you. I understand that while this journey is exciting, recruitment can also be nerve-wracking. I want to remind you to be yourself and come as you are! We genuinely want to get to know you for YOU. I encourage you to make the most of every interaction and conversation you have throughout this process. Approach recruitment with an open mind and an open heart. Ask questions, share your experiences, and embrace the opportunity to connect with our sisters.
When I first arrived at Centenary, many individuals encouraged me to go through recruitment. I was initially a bit hesitant, unsure if sorority life was the right fit for me. However, I am incredibly grateful that I approached it with an open heart and an open mind. When I walked into Chi Omega, I engaged in meaningful conversations where I felt seen and heard. I met women with whom I connected deeply, and I saw in them the qualities I admired most. Those feelings have persisted to this day. I have found a home full of sisters who cheer me on and push me to be my best self. Chi Omega is not just a house; it is my home. Our sisterhood values personal growth, individuality, service, scholarship, and friendship. At Chi O, we cherish a sisterhood of like hearts, where the power of diversity and individuality gives us strength.
My chapter’s sisterhood is truly unique. We strive to recognize and celebrate everyone’s individuality, as we believe that this individuality makes our sisterhood
stronger. Supporting and cheering for our sisters comes naturally to us and we can’t imagine our lives without our forever friends. Not only do we have fun but we strive to reach academic, philanthropic, and service goals each semester. Our partnership with Make-A-Wish is a significant passion for our chapter. During Wish Week, which we host every year, we plan and organize multiple events to raise money to grant a wish for our Wish Kid. Additionally, we serve the Shreveport community through outreach programming and by educating our members about the many service opportunities in our area. Moreover, we support each other in our academic pursuits by organizing study hours, offering tutoring from sisters, and even passing down textbooks.
This description only scratches the surface of what we do as a chapter. I cannot wait to share more with you during recruitment! Remember that sorority recruitment is not just about finding a place to belong; it is also about finding a group of women who will support and challenge you to be the best version of yourself. We hope that you will find a sense of belonging, sisterhood, and purpose on Greek Row.

Zeta Tau Alpha
Hello Ladies!
My name is Madison Wing, and I am the President of Zeta Tau Alpha, chapter Beta lota here at Centenary! I am so glad that you have registered to participate in this year’s formal recruitment! I am sure you are anxious about the upcoming week, but just remember that we all were in your shoes, just relax and enjoy the week of festivities.
The sisters of Beta lota here at Centenary have worked hard to impact our campus and community since our founding in 1927. The Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation is committed to the philanthropy of breast cancer education & awareness, which has given us the opportunity to work with national partners such as the NFL, American Cancer Society, and BrightPink. Our chapter supports the cause through PinkOut Athletic events, annually hosting a booth at the RedRiverRevel, and participating in the NFL Saints Crucial Catch game. Apart from our national philanthropy our individual members participate in community-oriented service projects and events throughout the year.
Zeta Tau Alpha has influenced my life in so many ways. This Sisterhood has provided me with leadership, responsibility, professionalism, self-love, and so much more. As a sisterhood, we strive to establish a community of genuine, diverse, and bold women who are not afraid to live with authenticity. We value individuality and celebrate the unique qualities each member brings to the chapter. We value the pursuit of knowledge, understanding, and skills through the means of lifelong experience and sincere curiosity. We aim to be well educated,
competent, and resilient individuals who can overcome any task. We strive to cultivate a community of kindness through genuine appreciation and friendship. Even beyond our chapter, we hope to extend compassion and sincere care to all people. The women here at Zeta Tau Alpha are a genuine group of girls who pride themself on a strong sisterhood. As members of Zeta Tau Alpha, we rely on one another throughout our time on campus, but the impact of our membership in such a rewarding sisterhood lasts far beyond our college years.
We all are so excited that you have chosen to Go Greek! Throughout Formal Recruitment, I know you will experience all the amazing aspects of Greek Life here on campus and be welcomed with open arms. Throughout the week, I encourage you to keep an open mind and do what is right for you. We are so excited to get to know your true, authentic self and share the unlimited opportunities and experiences of Greek Life here at Centenary.
Go Greek!
