Hello Ladies!

My name is Madison Wing, and I am the President of Zeta Tau Alpha, chapter Beta lota here at Centenary! I am so glad that you have registered to participate in this year’s formal recruitment! I am sure you are anxious about the upcoming week, but just remember that we all were in your shoes, just relax and enjoy the week of festivities.

The sisters of Beta lota here at Centenary have worked hard to impact our campus and community since our founding in 1927. The Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation is committed to the philanthropy of breast cancer education & awareness, which has given us the opportunity to work with national partners such as the NFL, American Cancer Society, and BrightPink. Our chapter supports the cause through PinkOut Athletic events, annually hosting a booth at the RedRiverRevel, and participating in the NFL Saints Crucial Catch game. Apart from our national philanthropy our individual members participate in community-oriented service projects and events throughout the year.

Zeta Tau Alpha has influenced my life in so many ways. This Sisterhood has provided me with leadership, responsibility, professionalism, self-love, and so much more. As a sisterhood, we strive to establish a community of genuine, diverse, and bold women who are not afraid to live with authenticity. We value individuality and celebrate the unique qualities each member brings to the chapter. We value the pursuit of knowledge, understanding, and skills through the means of lifelong experience and sincere curiosity. We aim to be well educated, competent, and resilient individuals who can overcome any task. We strive to cultivate a community of kindness through genuine appreciation and friendship. Even beyond our chapter, we hope to extend compassion and sincere care to all people. The women here at Zeta Tau Alpha are a genuine group of girls who pride themself on a strong sisterhood. As members of Zeta Tau Alpha, we rely on one another throughout our time on campus, but the impact of our membership in such a rewarding sisterhood lasts far beyond our college years.

We all are so excited that you have chosen to Go Greek! Throughout Formal Recruitment, I know you will experience all the amazing aspects of Greek Life here on campus and be welcomed with open arms. Throughout the week, I encourage you to keep an open mind and do what is right for you. We are so excited to get to know your true, authentic self and share the unlimited opportunities and experiences of Greek Life here at Centenary.

Go Greek!

With Zeta Love & Mine,

Madison Wing
