2013 CONFERENCE GUIDE Michelle Guy serves as Production Editor for Growing in Grace.
Michelle is a graduate of Converse College and Southern Seminary. She has taught elementary music in both public and private schools, and joined the staff of Celebrating Grace in September 2012. Michelle has been leading children in musical and educational activities for over 25 years and currently directs Preschool Choir at Crievewood Baptist Church in Nashville.
Tracy Hanrahan lives in Birmingham, AL, where she teaches piano
and voice through the Dawson Music Academy. An active children’s choir clinician, Tracy holds a B.A. in communications from the University of Alabama and also studied Church Music at Samford. She has served as children’s choir coordinator at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Birmingham and St. Andrew Baptist Church, Panama City, FL.
Suzanne Townsend Lee is Music Specialist at Ballentine
Elementary School in Irmo, SC. A graduate of Carson-Newman College and Southern Seminary with degrees in Church Music and Music Education, Suzanne joined the staff of Riverland Hills Baptist Church 19 years ago. She currently serves as Director of Children’s Music Ministry, coordinating six children’s choirs and directing the Young Musicians Choir.
Darla Meek serves as Music Education Coordinator at Texas A & M
University-Commerce. Darla earned a B.M.E. from Dallas Baptist University and M.M. at Southern Methodist University. Prior to joining the faculty at TAMUC, she taught music and movement in elementary schools. Darla serves as a national teacher trainer for the American Orff Schulwerk Association. She is an active member at Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas, TX.
Chelsea Stern is Music Associate at First Presbyterian Church in Fort
Worth, Texas. A licensed Kindermusik educator, Chelsea holds the M.S.M. from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University, M.M. from Southern Methodist University and B.M. from Baylor University. An appointed member of the Presbyterian Committee on Congregational Song, Chelsea has served churches in Temple, Waco and Dallas, TX.
Martha Robinson, GraceBeat MusicCamp Coordinator, is a tenured music educator, teaching elementary music in Maryville, TN, schools. A graduate of Union University, Martha also directs the Maryville College Youth Chorale and serves as pianist at Central Baptist Church Fountain City, Knoxville.
