Central Coast Stadium may be full of Superheroes today; but we can’t think of anyone more heroic than our charity partners Camp Quality and the children they support! Camp Quality’s purpose is to create a better life for every child living with cancer in Australia. The services they provide for children (0-13 years) living with cancer and their families help create a better life by building optimism and resilience throughout each stage of their cancer journey. Right from diagnosis, throughout treatment and in remission or bereavement, their programs support the whole family; at hospital, at home, back at school and in the community. Camp Quality teams are located in every state and territory across Australia. With the support of major partners like the Central Coast Mariners and over 2,500 volunteers, their services reach 1 in 3 children living with cancer in Australia. Their goal is to ensure every child living with cancer and their family has equal access to our programs nationwide – and with our help, we know they can get there! So show your superpowers this Sunday by helping create a better life for children living with cancer throughout Australia. The Central Coast Mariners are proud to be Charity Partners of Camp Quality and kindly request that you make a coin donation to the Camp Quality volunteers before entering the field of play after full time.
STATEMENT: MARINERS & CENTRAL COAST FOOTBALL JOIN FORCES The Central Coast Mariners and Central Coast Football (CCF) are pleased to announce that both entities will work collaboratively in the best interest of football on the Central Coast after settling all previous disputes. Central Coast Mariners Executive Vice Chairman, Peter Storrie and Central Coast Football General Manager Darren Sprod have worked tirelessly to reach a mutually beneficial relationship that will see football grow in the local area. Storrie was delighted to reach an agreement that himself, Darren Sprod (CCF General Manager), Ken Schembri (CCF Football Manager) and the CCF Board were able to agree upon, resulting in a mutually beneficial relationship moving forward. "Developing a productive and positive relationship with Central Coast Football has been one of my top priorities since arriving on the Central Coast and CONTINUED ON REVERSE

STATEMENT CONT'D.. reaching an agreement with Darren, Ken & the CCF Board is a huge step in the right direction for this club," Storrie said. The Central Coast Mariners and Central Coast Football will now be able to work together to market both entities and ultimately improve the participation of football at a grass roots level as well as the engagement levels with the Hyundai A-League. "It is no secret that in the past there has been a strain our relationship but since Peter has arrived it is clear that he is steering the ship in the right direction and we are delighted to be working more closely with the Mariners again," Sprod said.
PLAYER TO PRAISE: #23 ISAKA CERNAK BY PATRICK BODDAN
It’s becoming hard to miss Isaka Cernak. Whether he is mesmerising defenders on the left touchline, or mesmerising fans with his fluffy ‘fro, the 25-year has become a crucial figure to the Mariners front third. After experiencing life at five Hyundai A-League clubs, Cernak has found his home on the Central Coast, and is showing the form that a settled head and a tight knit culture can create. Cernak has never been a goalscoring midfielder, feeling more at home when he places the ball ahead of a striker on the end of a weaving run. That style, along with his blistering pace, earned him experience at Australian U/20s level, as well as some time with the Olyroos set up. ‘Sarks’ made an impact again on Thursday night who managed to unlock the Adelaide defence on several occasions, but it was his performance against Melbourne City that was the most impressive - earning the free-kick for Ferreira to dispatch as well as going close with a long range effort of his own.
#1 DANNY VUKOVIC BY PATRICK BODDAN
Very few men can boast a goalkeeping pedigree quite like Danny Vukovic. He is fast tracking down Michael Theo's record of the most clean-sheets, and today he lines up against the man neck and neck with him in the race for the most Hyundai A-League appearances, John Hutchinson. A graduate of John Crawley’s highly regarded goalkeeper coaching, Vukovic is considered to be one of the best distributors of the ball in the league. His accuracy with ball in hand or at his feet is crucial to Perth’s structured play and fast transition in attack, where they look to catch their opposition on the counter. Vukovic saved an Archie Thompson penalty during his Mariners Vukovic Stats A-League debut in September ’05 and hasn’t looked back since, where the 29-year old has amassed more than 60 clean sheets. Position Goalkeeper He is also the only goalkeeper to score a goal in regulation play in Date of Birth 27 March 1985 (29) Australia’s domestic competition, finding the back of the net from Place of Birth Sydney the penalty spot during his spell at Wellington in 2011. Height 188cm Vukovic has many amazing memories on the Central Coast Stadium Weight 96kg Former Clubs Wellington Phoenix & pitch, but he will have to put those behind him if he wants to keep Central Coast Mariners the yellow and navy out. After Anthony Caceres found his range with a goal from distance against Josep Gombau’s side, and with Fabio Ferreira in red-hot form, he may need something special to add another clean sheet to his tally.
CENTRAL COAST MARINERS OFFICIAL SUPPORTERS CLUB Q & A WITH THE BEECHAM'S HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT THE OSC? Initially at an early fan forum when it was discussed, we then kept up with progress on set up through social media and became members. WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT BEING A MEMBER? Forming friendships and having familiar faces at games and social events has been great. The feeling of really being a part of the club; having an opportunity to give feedback and also hear about discussions going on with the Mariners is invaluable. The ability to vote each week on the CCMOSC player of the year award is something we also enjoy doing.
member functions with Mariners players in attendance. Our kids loved getting to meet Rocket and Hutch at the AGM. Getting on the volunteers list for events and things like handing out The Loose Cannon on gameday to do our little bit to support the club in anyway that we can, plus of course a great key ring and a set of CCM Official Supporters Club mugs.
WHAT ARE THE MAIN BENEFITS OF BECOMING A MEMBER? We were able to take a behind the scenes tour of the Stadium which was guided by players and coaching staff,
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE THINKING OF BECOMING A MEMBER? Do it. It doesn't cost much, but the rewards and sense of ownership are great.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW?
The Central Coast Mariners are excited to announce that shortly after full time TODAY our fans will be able to grab their friends and family for a kick on the hallowed turf of Central Coast Stadium!
• BYO Ball: I hope you brought a ball along! What’s the point of stepping onto the best surface in the Hyundai A-League if you can’t have a kick?
Camp Quality are our charity partner for #SuperheroSunday and all those who wish to join us on the pitch at full time are kindly asked to make a coin donation to the bucket collections before stepping onto the pitch. Whether it’s a 10-cent piece or twodollar coin – all funds raised will go towards providing camps for children and their families who are affected by Cancer. Before gracing the same turf that our superheroes have experienced so many iconic Mariners moments on, there are a few things you need to know.
Position Forward Date of Birth 9 April 1989 Place of Birth Brisbane, Australia Height 179cm Weight 72kg Former Clubs Wellington Phoenix, Melbourne Victory, North Queensland Fury & Brisbane Roar
Cernak will hope to be as illusive and unpredictable in attack again today, with his former club Perth Glory visiting Gosford’s idyllic bayside arena. On the back of a string of forgettable performances, Kenny Lowe's men will be out with a turn in fortunes high on the agenda, but they will have to find a way to negate Cernak’s influence before he finds a way to hurt the purple-whites on the scoreboard.
PLAYER TO PRESSURE:
As a part of our beloved #SuperheroSunday fixture the gates to the field will be opened for everyone to join in on the post match fun.
