Gerroa, a sleepy seaside village is best known for its picturesque views and location of the north end of Seven Mile Beach and the mouth of the Crooked River. Gerroa is the perfect beachside holiday destination, the beach is family friendly and perfect for beginner or veteran surfers. In the town you will find a local café/restaurant, the fishermans club and post office/general store for all of your necessities.

WHAT GERROA HAS TO OFFER

Gerroa is just a short drive from the town of Gerringong and only 10 minutes from Berry. With the beautiful Seven Mile Beach and Crooked River, there's plenty to enjoy in the summer, including surf lessons with Land’s Edge Surf School, Surf Camp Australia and Gerringong Surf School,

Enjoy breakfast or lunch at The Blue Swimmer Cafe during the week and indulge in their gorgeous dinner men on Friday and Saturday nights. For a family night out head to Gerroa Fisherman's Club for Schnitzel nights every Wednesday and live music on Saturdays. .

The family-friendly Sand Track Walk runs north and south from Gerroa to Seven Mile Beach National Park. The latter sweeps around to Shoalhaven Heads, along the ever-changing skyline of the coast. You can also trek along the Gerroa headland and see whales migrating along the coast between May and November, or dolphins any time of year.

Kiama, nestled on the picturesque coastline with the waves hugging to the east and the lush green rolling hills to the west. The town has endless attractions, and is spoilt for choice with cafes, restaurants and boutique shops, the town is no secret and is a very attractive destination for Sydney day-trippers and holiday makers. All this only 90 minutes from Greater Sydney.

Shoalhaven Heads is a small coastal village stretching along the northern bank of the Shoalhaven River and straddled by the beautiful Seven Mile Beach stretching down from Gerroa. With many recreational options on your doorstep and an emphasis on swimming, fishing, camping, horse riding on the beach, golf and boating, you will never find yourself bored.

Shellharbour is a beautiful seaside community located between Wollongong and Kiama. The village part has turned into a mini Kiama full of shops, historical buildings that have been restored, restaurants, parks with well maintained gardens and lovely beaches.

Shellharbour is home to one of Australia's few National Surfing Reserves at Killalea. Catch a wave at two iconic breaks, The Farm at Killalea Beach and Mystics at Minnamurra Beach. The area is also known for its excellent snorkelling and diving.

There are plenty of indoor activities to do with friends and family as well if you aren't into the outdoors, They have the HARS Aviation Museum, Stockland Shellharbour, C1 Speed Indoor Electric Karting & Laser Tag, Flip out , movies, Bowling and so much more!

You are spoilt for choice in Shellharbour with plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars, whatever you are looking for. From your local Tavern on the water, to Perch bar in the Village if you are looking for a cocktail or a place for coffee, there is something for everyone's needs.

When you want to escape to the country, Berry will help you break free from city stress. Book in at Lou Lou Berry for a relaxing massage or a pampering beauty session. Indulge in a day spa or rejuvenating health treatment, or try a yoga class surrounded by fresh air and green fields, there's plenty to do for your getaway!

Bringing the kids along on your weekend away? Stress less! There is plenty for the little ones to do. Stop by Rotary Nature Play Park which suit all ages and abilities and is packed with nature and sensory play opportunities, a flying fox, bridges, tunnels, a cubby house, sand and water play areas, climbing nets, slides, accessible play equipment, amenities and even an exercise zone for adults.

We had a great stay! Being greeted with some chocolates and wine was lovely welcome to the home. The kitchen was well equipped and had some essentials already stocked. The layout was excellent for entertaining and cooking, and the big dining table was lovely. On the one overcast day, the smart tv and surround sound system provided much entertainment. We enjoyed the location, with easy access to great beaches and a short drive to the local shops.

Chinae Azzopardi - Vitamin Sea, Kiama

Had an amazing stay at Vitamin Sea in Kiama. The house was so much bigger than we thought. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The views of the beach are beautiful, especially in the morning, it was lovely to wake up to. Absolutely no complaints :)

A seriously unbelievable location/house. Was there with 8 other friends and we had the best weekend. House was spacious and beach facing, with incredible sunset / sunrise views. Would absolutely recommend

This might be one of the most beautiful houses available on Airbnb. The beach is a hidden gem in the southern NSW coastline and water is so close you would be forgiven for thinking you were in a boat waking up in the master bedroom. The interior of the house is also stunning – every fitting and appliance is top quality. It is clear a lot of love went into this house, and it is a perfect getaway for small groups or families.
