How do I join a journey group?

Start with people you know Ask those you naturally connect with if they are in a Journey Group. If most aren't in a group, consider starting a new one together. The Adult Discipleship Team will help you with everything you need to get your group started.

Stephen Ministers are prepared with a breadth of skills to help in times of difficulty and crisis. Stephen Ministers care, while Christ heals. Stephen Ministers meet with a Care Receiver for an hour per week to extend help and care. Care Receivers have experienced dramatic changes in their lives as a result of the consistent, caring concern of the Stephen Ministers.

Confidentiality is always observed within this ministry.

What should I know about Kingdom investing?

It is a privilege to participate in the work of the local church by contributing cheerfully, sacrificially and generously (emphasis on 2 Corinthians 8 and 9). Through prayer, seek a clear conscience in regard to investing in the work God has given CCC to accomplish.

How do I participate?

Participate during services at both campuses or set up eGiving online. You may also place checks or cash in the secure giving box on the wall near the office entrance at the Old Mill Campus.

An offering envelope is required to obtain a receipt for cash offerings. Contribution envelopes can be obtained at the Old Mill Campus from the Office Services Window, and service venues. At the Bellevue Campus, they are located at the Information Table.

Step Into Village One CCC is committed to seeing life-transformation through Jesus Christ in the Village One neighborhoods of North Omaha, centered at 33rd & Franklin Streets. Our God-sized vision is to attract people into the arms of Jesus through Bridge Church, a multi-cultural church located near Village One. We are committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus in Village One for as long as it takes for God to transform this part of our city.

Step Into Village One is an annual event where CCC mobilizes as many volunteers as possible to show up in the neighborhood and show the love of Jesus through a variety of projects. These kinds of events continue to make people in this neighborhood aware of Bridge Church and the love that comes from a relationship with Jesus.

Volunteers are needed in the following areas: Flyer Distribution-will meet in the student center. All other volunteers will meet at Bridge Church 3126 Lake Street at 12:30. Sack lunches will be provided before our workday begins!

Bridge Church is a multi-cultural church in Village One that has come alongside the CCC ministry in Village One as our partner. We need volunteers to organize, clean, move items around, and outdoor landscape.

Many homes need to have their lawns mowed and trimmed. Volunteers will be asked, if possible, to bring lawn mowers, weed-eaters, and hedge clippers. Some volunteers will be assigned to pick up trash & talk to the people in the neighborhood.

Dirty Laundry series Sexuality dominates the landscape, from media and entertainment to politics and the daily news. It is the Dirty Laundry of our culture, resulting in a pervasive pornography industry fueled by human trafficking. And, the church is not immune to this toxic issue. Jesus came to set the captives free. Literally, setting slaves free and metaphorically freeing humanity from addictions and misperceptions. Enter into this three-week conversation centered on Biblical truth. Learn what the church must do to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a world that is being dented by the abuse of the gift of sexuality.

Parents note: We believe it is best for our kids to hear a Biblical perspective on difficult issues. Our series, Dirty Laundry, will address the highly charged subject of sexuality, human trafficking, and pornography. This is an issue pervasive in culture. We want to assure you that it is with sensitivity and a high awareness of children's presence in services that we are preparing these messages.
