Have fun learning and playing with your preschooler! Activity Run, Shepherds, Run!
First, watch this week’s video!
What You Need: Plastic toy sheep or white cotton balls, baby doll, blanket, and basket What You Do: Wrap the doll and place it in a basket on one side of your room. Scatter the sheep all over the floor on the opposite side of the room. Say, “God sent angels to tell the shepherds that Jesus had been born. When the shepherds heard that Jesus had been born, they ran to see Him! Let’s play a game! When I say, ‘Jesus is born,’ I want you to run to the baby in that basket. Okay, little shepherd, get ready to run! JESUS IS BORN! Look! It’s Baby Jesus, just like the angels said! Yay! God gave us Jesus! (Clap and cheer.) Let’s go back to our sheep and do that again!”
Bible Story The Shepherds (Luke 2:8-21)
Remember This “God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son.” John 3:16, GNT
Say This How do we know God loves us? God gave us Jesus.
Prayer “Dear God, thank You for loving us so much that You gave us Jesus. Help us go and tell everyone the good news about Jesus like the shepherds did. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
